I think I was mentioning the lady cook name Lawson back then and how kind of "sexy" and firtly she was, and yet many of you "English" are like that when you wanna be. Comes naturally I guess. I'm finishing off my snowmen today if possible..just did some touch up paint before the eyes and nose go on and indeed I could use the help of an artist like Cahtynml perhaps. I wonder how she's feeling, I feel like someone stabbed me in the back this morning....so I just took an anti-bilotic tablet..and an stronger Bayer Asprin. See if that works..feel like an I had an case of " sleep apena" last night maybe. They've caught me twice at the hospital with it and stopped it for me Dentist once. Dentist says it's an bad case of dealing with stress he thinks...I simply clam up and stop breathing. Yesterday was not that good an day in some ways...though my cell phone was found. Breaking news over here about an oil platform blew up off Louisiana coast line...cause is unknown. Also in the news was six different court houses in Washington State...someone called in and said they were wired with explosives...so far none have been found though and nothing has happened either. So back to work, let's hope they do not turn out googly-eyed snowmen this morning. After that...all is done and I can add the greenery and take it out to the kid's house. Start in thinking about Thanksgiving Day I guess....if Sarah cooks the Turkey..I do side dish dishes...if I do the Turkey sometimes I get stuck with the whole dinner here. But I also get left-overs from dinner. Rain storm and winter weather in the mountains comes in by tonight also for the next several days. They expect the rain to last through next week pretty much. Hope we don't have any flooding. Time to think of starting up the fireplace...calms down the weather outside...inside. Cozy and snuggly type of time. I made out my first Christmas Card...I still have some for POE from last year...I went in and like to gasp in horror the price they wanted in postage to send them out...I think Ron would rather have the money in an donation for the web site.. It was easier to tell you "Merry Christmas" here... in as Richard callls it " Poe-ville". Richard, the Grouse Club is strickly guy talk, but they might wash it all down with some Grouse of some kind...I think that's booze maybe...not sure. Kind of an "Understanding" amoung the fellas...until we gals hold our own in the talk....and you know most women are gabby to say the least...I think it's our nerves for the most part. Talk later on...got snowmen to do up. Have an good Day everyone! |

We have just enjoyed five lovely relaxing days away at a super timeshare resort in the Magaliesburg mountains near Hartebeespoort Dam (if you want to look it up, lol) Unfortunately I had very limited internet access so haven't had much opportunity to check POE out during the week. But it is great to see the many new threads and additions to the older discussion threads. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! |

Having now got back to POE after a week of beautiful weather (with only one thunderstorm one evening) I am hearing thunder again right now, so will probably have to close down and catch you all again later! Have a great evening! |
