Good news indeed Syd..life goes on!  Sorry to hear of your problems James...you really need an good day also...maybe one is just around the corner. I just got back from delivering part of Thankssgiving dinner out to the kid's house..and have some stuff to share with my brother yet...trying to set that up now. Looks like maybe Tuesday of next week. Then I start the other half of dinner..to take it out...and then go pick up my sister for over the weekend also and maybe we can do an few special things also..go see and movie...go see the Christmas Tree at "Pioneer Square" and see what else we can do and places to go.  She needs that LOTS more then an lot of food...she's diabetic. I also take down the turkey  decorations and put up the Chiristmas decorations and lights also. So I am enjoying my "tea" right now and hubby built me an nice warm fire also...and it's raining as was forecasted..started last night. rain and heavy snow in the mountains. Supposedly 6.53 inches of rain before Turkey day... for any reason we can't get together as planned...we can all just the same have "Thanksgiving" anyway..in our own homes. It gives me an "piece of mind" to know that I guess...is why I do this every year you know..."mothers"..what can I say?..... Talk later.

Hi James.  I have only just seen your post from a few days ago.  I looked for you everywhere in Torquay last week but nobody had seen anyone matching your description!!  As for senior citizens line dancing .... no comment!  LOL !         Glad you had a nice time.

Who, or what exactly did you tell anybody you were looking for Marjorie? I mean, just how does anybody describe a Grouse swilling male from up north? It's not as though he looks like his avatar either is it? You had no chance!! lol

Hi everyone!  Hoping the weather is going to be kind this evening, although I have my doubts!!  So a quick catch up on everyone's news.

Syd - that is great news!  I do hope it works out for you!

Hey James - it appears we were both away last week, no wonder it seems to have been quieter on POE.  I was no where near Torquay so didn't look for you! LOL.Laughing

I hope life has been kind to all other members of POE this passed week and that you have had a great weekend! Smile

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. Not everyone thinks I am doing nthe right thing especially my elder son but, hey, its my life and its the only one I have and furthermore when one gets to our age there is no longer so much time left so it must not be wasted.

The Hospice people here claim that when someone has been ailing for some time the mourning starts sooner and when the person dies the healing process can be started sooner. Whatever, I need company and female company is better than always being "out with the boys".

I feel young again. Watch out laydees, the old stud is on the prowl! (LOL)

Hi everyone, hope a good weekend was had by all.
