Hi Syd. The best way (as it would not be a picture of England lol) would be to take a photograph and then load to your avatar, or maybe a photograph together for your avatar as Anna and me.

Make sure she's okay with it of course, otherwise the frying pan could be dealing blows about the napper!

We don't want to gain a member in SA as we lose another! lol

Sounds good Ron, I will do that. My English Rose will not mind. Watch the avatar space!

Here I go again..cat wiped out my first post....walking across my computer. Ok, I dont' see any picture Syd..where is she?

Ok, I was saying about this lady that called into the talk radio show I listen to at night...as the host was asking people in the Hurricane Sandy area to let us know what thier Thanks giving was like and if they needed help. There is nothing like an frist hand opinion from someone with intelligence. She said that she grew up in Hurricane country as an kid and never has she see the damage this "Supertorm" rendered to Coney Island and Staten Island...she says there are still people there with no power after all this time...and she said that "media" is over looking it all for "Black Friday" and the retail industry...as if it's just  not existed any more. She said that she felt this was some kind of techological generated storm. She had never in her life see heavy duty warehouse buildings made of metal torn out of their achoring in cement. AS she said...they were not little cheap metal buildings. She said that many people are now not leaving their homes for looting going on...also not being mentioned by the media these days.

It was told last night that almost all our politicans are milllionaires with 67 per cent of them in the Senate...they stay millionares in the process of thier deductions they take off their income..if not given much of what they have already bor the "public" service job. They have formed an "colition" to ignore the middle man's needs these days and to venture forth in thier own agendas of collecting even more monry off the back of the working/low middle people. In short they have gone over to the French Revolution of the past in basically being completely unware of the majority of people they are suppose to be representing. It was also told that the highest CEO's have once again put very lucritive bonus checks in their pockets this year...in an kind of "Underground" acknowledgement within most industries. In short the rich get richer..and make the poorer get poorer.  People calling in last night telling it like they felt things were and what they are seeing going on..over what the news reports. I bet your thinking..nothing new...this has always been going on...join the bandwagon.... or get run over perhaps. What made this radio stationinto what if became with "Art Bell" was telling the things that news media refused to tell..but people knew existed in the world. Many people see it as about the only way to "get the truth" out and voiced any more. So it was with interest I listened last night to people calling in and telling how things were in thier area...they said that Fema is showing up to late to make an difference...and the Red Cross helps...but not always in the way needed. I heard that also in the past...that the call to help others...went into people giving up old appliances for an tax write off...with often things that sometimes were basically not working all that great or simply in the way over the real needs. But you know...that's what an disaster is..."Chaos" in general.  It reminds of an church here in Portland that during an crisis sent down sewing machines to South America and they had never had electricity before...so how were they to "run" them and they had no idea never seeing an sewing machine..what to do with them to begin with. But you know..they sent some $20,000 worth of them. So this church sent down someone to try to make them into foot powered tread machines and another person to train the ladies and thought maybe with that... they could find an industry to sell clothing they made....for money they needed to survive on. ..rebuild. I learn considerable... watching what goes on in the aftermath of things.

Well, I guess I should get going. Look forward to seeing Barbara's picture...we had one whom was an first wife of my now deceased brother in-law....Don. I know they had two son's, one lives in Tenneessee and the other near Salem, Oregon. My freind "Ann" whom passed over from "Cancer" was named Barbara also...as is an  younger first cousin of mine back east somewhere. POE has Barbara Shoemaker also...whom seems an very nice lady. Time to be out and about for today...so talk later on.

Wow Syd a cracker!!

To pull a cracker at this time of year is especially good, and from what I can see you didn't get the booby prize, good luck to you both!
