Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 05:09 on 1st December 2012 Today was totally wild...I had to send off some money for various health bills...and stopped by the craft store on the way home...as I needed something to fill up two pots in an golden filagree "Santa" type sleigh...well I picked up what I needed there and thought I could save some money if I stopped by the Goodwill for the White poisetta to sit next in an pot with an small lighted Christmas tree...I found the gold bulbs for the tree ...and then ran into 14 microwave ovens...my sister wanted one as her's didn't work correctly....so I called her up on my cell phone and she described what she wanted...I found one, with an slight dent, nice one.. easily covered up with an place mat....bought it and took it to her house...about 45 mins each way...got home and took everything out of the car and came in..I noticed the mail on the table, thought maybe hubby had been home for some reason...he left me no message...so went about decorating again...when I was done I called him at work...the youngest Grandson had been picked up not feeling the greatest and he took him back to work with him...so I said I'd come after him, and he said..forget it..I'm off work in half an hour. I bought this new furry kind of coveret..reminds me of an mink coat blanket..he adores...I went tonight after his mom picked him up and bought him one for their sofa....took it out to them. We brought the other grandson home with us tonight..because tomarrow is an annual "Food Drive" for Scouts.I found in the used book section this book today..."Vanishing England"...a Photographic Journey through England's Threatened Landscapes...only one thing better then the "history" is seeing where it all took place. I'll try to get into this book after the Holdiays are taken care of....see what the good ole days looked like maybe. I see quite an few black and white photo's. Anyway...I'm exausted and tired tonight. Today went fast and little was accomplished in the house here...I was hoping to wrap it all up by the end of this weekend...I heard that the elepant delivered her baby and it was an little girl elephant, easy delivery...but haven't seen the news reports concerning it as of yet. Have an good evening. |

This is absolutely amazing. If you have not seen it before just type in your address or any family addresses and look through the window at the snow falling on your home today. It's hard to believe how it works!!!!

I brought my son home nightly his first year as an baby to 365,000 lights. Off in the distance it looked like this house was sitting in the... air lit to the hilt. Lot has changed since then in the neighborhood. Lots! It touched me with an lot of good memories of back then..Christmas parties here of all the little kids, family... people going down the street "caroling" and singing..dog sleds out practicing...and sharing hot chocolate and goodies...giggling and laughter. We know each other now, but its not like when we were ALL new to the houses/area...and there's fewer little kids here any more also. Back then every house had couple kids of not more. We had in an 8 house area..17 kids..plus an few furtherdown the street most the time also. Plus Karen had about 10 little black Labador puppies...and I had bunny rabbits back then also and Riley's had kittens. We all had dogs. But anyway...it was nice to see those lights...made me feel like it was "home" again. I had just watched "Narnia" on TV also..such an good movie. Did any of you happen to listen to "coast" the other night with William Henry on it...taking about the Ark of the Convent. Just came out with an book of the name also...he was saying that old time pictures use to show Jesus descending on top of an "box"...and that he felt when Jesus returns...he will be bringing that box..... that the 12 Commandments were laid in... and under his estimation the "living word" of God at the same time. I have been saying that myself for an long time and wrote to Glen Kimball one time about an excavation he found near the New Madrid area of Illinois..near Cario, Illinois...he had already done infared picrures to outline what looked like golden statues of angels in an cave in the area. Supposedly the local Indians knew of of this also..or had broken the seal of it. He was having an issue of it's excavation with Robert "Ghost Wolf" trying to say he had found the "treasure"...and I told him then..don't open it up...as it may be the "Ark of the Convent" your have found...and if you know your bible..it wiped out " thousands" in an invading army one time..in an instant.. More then that... when it was in Jerusalem....it was said that only the most purest of priest could go into the "box"...and that they had to be humble enough to bow down with their eyes and not look upon it or it killed them instantly. Anyway...I never heard there after if Glen Kimball challenged the excavation or not...I know now he's passed away..and he was an good man...as is this fella an historian of the artifacts of the Lord. The box was said to be "guarded" by pure Gold cherubs/angels statutes of some kind...winged ones. That is what Kimball said he found in infra-red photographs....but at the time he thought perhaps they were from Egypt. Until I sent him an "Post" on what I thought it really was...to be careful. He thought the cave had been breached by the Native Americans around the time of the New Madrid earthquake possibly also...in 1812/1814 era. Even though it (quake) was said caused by an lunar eclipse...we have had plenty of them since then with no problem. Remember when Tucumshe (sp?) had said he had talked to the creator and he asked his people to leave the "whiteman" man ways and return to their original ways, or the Lord would react in reprisal. I think maybe he was the Native American that broke the seal of the cave perhaps...which means that it was most likely carried over here by the Templar Knights long time before that even.. when they ransacked the temple. Tucumseh was blind missing one eye...buthe was also an "Shaman" of his day...and also an alcoholic also..he died not to long after this also in the Battle of Fallen Timbers. But he probably had the right credentials of the day to truly talk to the Lord first hand if indeed the box represents the "living word" of God. I have heard from others it represents some kind of "Nuke" device thought to been "alein" based at one time...or possbly even left from Atlantis destruction days. The show the other night was interesting and it says that "Iran" may play an part in it possibly in the end days..though Iraq is the Lord's "gateway" into heaven supposedly in the past...Babylon. Don't know quite what to say on te rest of it..other then wouldn't mind reading this book this year...if I coulld find it...seeif there's anything else said... I might agree with.. Our newest little baby elephant came out 300 pounds...long and skinny and is "cute"...the zoo will be posting some names to suggest and then let the public vote on which one they want. Delivery went fast this time around...thank "God".... that's what I had asked.. when I heard that her first delivery was so hard on her that she didn't want anything to do with her baby...and didn't "bond" until later on. Last I saw her..she had big tears and we had an partial lunar eclipse going on..that probably saw her her labor go quicker. I have been with plenty of "birthing" animal mother's in my time. They need the care of us humans... to help them through it at times. I use to give our mother rabbit rapsberry leaves and Peaches and Cream instant Oatmeal after birthing...then I'd sprinkle it around in the nest...those babies of hers would get so big from the cream and oats...local grange use to ask me what I fed them to have such big rabbits lateron. It use to give Carmalita and reprieve from nursing an bit also...and she'd get pretty sore until she toughened up some from allthe nursing. She was such an beatiful rabbit...loped eared..few muti colored spots on her, dark ears..,but mosly all white haired. I guess I shold head to bed now...as tomarrow starts another day...and the decorating is slowly getting done bit by bit. Maybe have some free time later on...today I bought most the Christmas Dinner that I could freeze for later on. My son won't be home until early next week..he's in another state right now(truck driver)...but he said that he'd do his thing... and cook the meat for me...Christmas Day. It will be an simple dinner this year. Have an godo evening everyone. There is really some lovely Christmas music playing these days...be sure and enjoy it. |

Something for me old mate Ron. I watched a great movie last night called The Chronicals of Narnia. It meant much more with you taking me on the C S Lewis tour and having seen the Narnia window in the church. I am also a reading a Morse book and find so much more pleasure in it as I can visualise places that are mensioned such as The Randolph, The Bird and Baby, Magdalen (forgot how its pronounced Ron can you enlioghten me again?) and the Ashmolean amongst others. Wonderfull. I owe you and Anna a meal next time I in Oxford - hopefully next June/July. Hope everyone is well. Oh, by the way Saffa is short for "Safrican" as some here are wont to pronouce South African. |
