Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 03:33 on 13th September 2013 I buy bottled water...the kind my dad told me to buy..purified water enhanced with minerals, fo ran pure fresh taste when it's kept cool in the refrigerator. Dasasani I sthe name brand, made by the coke a cola corporation..it's sitilled water also...but dad felt it was the safest to drink. He said no "spring water" with so much enviormental pollution these days...which is killing the animals and fish off by the hundreds and thousands these days. Tea o rcoffee should not be consumed to much more then 2 cups per each daily..one factor is the acid in the strong coffee's of today..though they like to drown them in fattening creams and flavors....I don' t buy them outside of my house usually..only in an rear moment..mu stiff here is fat free and sugar free. They say green teas is good for you to drink, though I tend to like Earl Grey or an spicey orang kind of tea..like constant comment. Herbal teas...I like "Roasted" Dandelion tea when I can find it. But I have an assortment all the time of different flavors. At least half of my daily fuids are in the form of water, with maybe one cup skim milk or less on my cereal if I eat that. I also to my instant Maple brown sugar oatmeal..add half it in regular oatmeal. It was nice to see them come out with fat free..Half and half...it makes an really good Clam chowder with half the calories also. I had an terrible night last night...which resulted in an 30 degree drop in temperatures...and an trip for an tennatus shot and pneumonia shot today...so am good on that one for the next 10 years. I looked like someone shot ah hole through my arm right now... I gave the cat an bath last night in the wee hours of the morning...and he stuck his nail in my arm...and broke an blood vein....so I have this half dollar sized purple blue around the slash cut he made..with an yellow ring around that and it bled most the night long...but I let it, and along with Bactine cleansing spray, deaden the pain and used that. Bill lookedat it this morning as he gave me the shots...told me if it doesn't heal daily as the day goes by or puffs up to go to emergency for anti-biotics. Its behaving like he told me he thought It should so far. Gals tell me it looks more like an visious dog bite then an cat scratch...but I think that was because of the broken blood vein. I had like four hours of sleep the last 24 hours, so I came home and slept most all afternoon. It was 98 degrees here yesterday..just un-Godly hot to say the least. But by the time the temps came donw 20 degrees...I lost the "gout" sumptoms and the swollen knee problem, both hardly letting me walk the last couple of days...as it cooled down to some 67 degrees this morning, everything, except the cat wound went away. I felt much better. I like it..when I can eat breakfast around 8 to 9 am...and lunch around 1 to 2 pm...and sometimes I drop that all together to eat dinner around 3 pm...and an yogurt around bedtime. I like it alternating oatmeal or cereal and cholesterol free eggs, and toast....and salad or veggies for lunch...or an full meal by 3 pm otherwise. I eat an lot of Lean cusine if I'm be myself...because its calorie no-guess work on it. Tonight I had Argurla (lettace)..which has an slightly nutty taste...and rinsed black beans, and one piece of sandwhich sized yellow cheese folded over and sliced, and fresh green pepper sliced into bites and garden tomato wedges, with garlic and butter crutons and blue cheese dressing. I added blueberry low fat yougurt to it as well...and 16 ozs. of water. I had an big lunch though and wen tto McDonalds for an chicke/bacon wrap and diet soda..which I never fnsished..and an rarity for me..French fries...then slept all afternoon. I had oatmeal for breakfast...no toast this morning...I think an cup of coffee, don't remember...that's how tired I was...but if I did, it was with fat-free Hazelnut creamer. I also like buying the powedered creamers as I think over all you use less of it then the already made stuff...esp to go overboard on it. I'm getting ready to lay down an bit here again. It dropped day time down 10 degrees from yesterday...thank God. You know, my neighbor just got down having back surgery week ro so ago. He made his first appearance outside to pick up the mail last weekend. But so goes. Talk to everyone later on. ...I need to finsish off the lamp for the Christmas bonus gift...and then I can say things are ready to roll... all done. |

I made my hubby an smaller salad of what I had without the turkey, 1000 Island dressing...half an fresh pear chopped up and stoffer's Spaghetti and meat entree..with two slices of bread and butter. He eats by 5 pm because he's into things nightly and they all seem to start by 7 pm...tonight is an Thunderbird District meeting...first one of the year. This makes the third night he's not here due to Scout events going on..as the school season begins. |
