I live in the high desert, so short hot summers and long cold winters. And yes, we have sand dunes and sagebrush just like in the western movies. |

I was just looking at your pictures that are posted rustyruth..and for gosh sakes what are conkey's..and why do they ward off spiders....which are really getting huge here, so autumn is in the air despite the warming temps next week. Diana...yep start out with my scarecrow and straw decor for autumn and autumn colored tree(forrest ) landscape picture...will add an few Holloween pumpkins and my Holloween village that lights up...and take it down for some turkeys and wooden figures of Pilgrims and Indians holding food for an feast to be had...before it all comes down for Christmas...and I am more and more turning to pictures on the wall so much more room space otherwise is available. I haven't been as yet to see what all the stores are doing this year, Pier One Imports sent me out an flyer yesterday though. I need an small rectangle all white plate though for an small table fondue pot to sit on. Octoberfest Season also abounds right now..wiht it's cheese fondue and sausage bites...and apple strudel. |
