I'll be out collecting them soon, my Mother has this strange idea that placing them in the corners of the room keeps spiders away. I don't think there is any evidence to back this up, but it keeps her happy, plus even after all these years I still enjoy collecting them Smile

Happy Friday to all! There is a touch of autumn in the air here in New England. It's a crisp 49 degrees and expected to only make it into the high 60's on the coast.

I confess to loving the autumn when nature dons her coat of multi colors. And I look forward to all the holidays but I do wish the retail world would slow down and let us enjoy each season and each holiday without rushing us into the next. Around here it's become one big HappyHolloweenThanksgivingChristmas.

You said it Scarlett !!

Fall is kicking off here in the mts...,,and a HappyHalloweenThanksgivingChristmasBoxingDay to all !!!

Hi Richard, nice to see you, it's what we call raining cats & dogs here at the minute, not nice out there at all, we've been spoiled with all the nice weather.

I loved conkers.  I have a conker ornament, complete with spikes and split shell with that beautiful brown conker inside.
