What's with the....law....inserted in the text? My sister said that her computer classes this last time was really hard for her to grasp....and she said she just gave up on them, and told her instrutor she didn't understand what to do. they told her that she most likely would never use what they were trying to teach her in this lesson... and not to worry about it..it was more og an running your own business type lesson.. By the time she ever did that...they would probably change the format anyway...but needed to understand what it was all about.

Yes John, 7 was a massive improvement over Vista but the sheer success of XP and total uselessness of Vista, gave Windows7 a very rocky start despite what all the reports at the launch time said. But 7 certainly succeeded in the end and proved itself to be as stable as XP. Now ware onto Windows 8 and that looks to be every bit as good as XP and 7. Whatever I get next will probably have 8 on as basic anyway although Windows 7 is still available as prefered OS by a lot of the internet sellers.

To develop Windows 8 Microsoft applied for and were granted permission to use Apples patents for the operating system to make it simpler and user friendly. Hopefully it worked, because Mac OS is so easy to use.

That's not one I have heard of Peggy although think it something to do with virus search so probably not dangerous, just unwanted, but have found this which may help get rid. Haven't looked at it but it is link from one of the big computer magazines .. PC Advisor. But you have someone coming tomorrow may be better to wait for them

Not anything I've heard of either Peggy, I think I'd also be inclined to wait until tomorrow.
