I give up, the amount of times I have tried to renew my membership by paypal and direct from my card but I always get told therevis an error.

I buy  on line there is never a problem, therefore I will wait until after the xmas postal rush and send a cheque,

I did not have this problem last year,  same card

We are not aware of any problems Peggy so thank you for mentioning it. I will contact Chris and Sarah to check it out and no doubt they will contact you.

In fact I just had a chat with Chris, Peggy and he says there isn't a problem this end as other renewals are being received, so could you try again please and if and where you have a problem please try to describe it in a PM to POE via the Contact facility in your Profile.

Thanks Peggy

When I tried to send for a prescription on line, it told me wrong age format,  dd mm yyyy  which I did exactly but no way would it accept it

Seems to me your laptop still isn't as clean as it needs to be Peggy. No good me trying to guess waht's wrong, but if there was problem with your card re the date, it would remain a problem with the date, rather than it later saying invalid as it apparently does now. Unless of course you are missing something, maybe got too used to following a routine, the wrong routine!

Anyway, lets hope you get sorted soon (maybe a word with the bank also) and yes, I have told C&S that you will send a cheque as soon as is possible. Thank you.

Hi to all POEsters, wherever you are.

On amazon it gives you the opportunity to put in  a new card number but I will send cheque, less hassle

When

I told the girls at the reception desk at the surgery that the computer would not accept my d o b  they thought it funny and said they would ask technician but they did not get back to me,  I am sure

01 is the first of the month    and 01 is also the first month of the year  or am I wrong?

Afternoon everyone, bit late today, been out for a run to Haworth before the awful weekend weather sets in. Had lunch out in a cafe in Haworth, huge Yorkshire pudding, filled with beef, gravy, potatoes and loads of veg, all for £5 each.

Just a thought Peggy, but have you another card you can try ? Just to see if it works. I know your tablet isn't and iPad, if it's a Windows tablet, fine, but just be a little bit wary of what you're doing with your card details online if you are using an Android tablet Smile

Seems you've got the card problem solved whilst I was typing. You are quite correct with your month numbering.

Somebody once said to me that computers are only as good as the people using them! lol

Hi Peggy, don't worry you'll get there and hey, I admit to getting confused many times with the PC, but quite often it really is just down to the operator and doing what we think is right at the time, and besides I wasn't born to use these 'fandangled' machines as my Mum would have said.............. and that was only a microwave oven! lol

Hang on in there Peggy!
