Thanks Pat. I've managed to get the internet working faster, I've unplugged the wireless router and plugged it in again. It probably hasn't been done in months. It's much faster now Smile

Glad you had a nice lunch, we're hoping for some decent walking weather here, where maybe we can take in a lunch or two. We've had freshly caught Bass for tea tonight. The chickens are tucked up in bed so time for a glass of wine now I think.

Their beds, outside, in the straw, in their run, as well you know Laughing

It's the cat that's made himself at home on our bed, he goes out a lot, I just hope he's minus any unwanted visitors.

Much to your surprise I have a close affinity with chickens as well ... my grandad had a chicken farm near Kirkby Lonsdale many years ago

A little present from the cat every now and again shows he like youUndecided

These chickens are quite characters, I think they are called black orpingtons, but I'm not sure, they are really quite large. They certainly make us laugh.

I suppose we ought to be thankful, our eldest daughters cat Bruce has started bringing her live rats home as gifts, she's not at all impressed, we think it's funny though Smile

I think I would draw the line at live rats. But my dear old Brandy used to leave mice at the back door ..... minus their heads. And once she even brought a frog into the kitchen!!!!  Such a loveable lady reallyUndecided

Thing is she can't seem to stop him, she has no idea where they are coming from, she's surrounded by farmland too, so it could be anywhere.

The most Milligan ever brought us was an Eccles Cake, a bunch of grapes and a ham sandwich, not the best hunter on the planet Smile
