You cant beat a nice sea bass----i remember in Portugal a while back the fishermen were tied to cars with rope to get down the cliffs to cast in --very frightening but you should have seen the baskets beimg hauled up full of bassSmile

I've got a photo James's, I think it might be in my Portugal album at the other place, of the fishermen in Portugal sat right on the edge of the cliffs 100's of feet up. A really quite scary place to be. I'm going to have a look if it's there now I've mentioned it Smile

Yes, it's there James, looks like I was stood in a bit of a precarious place to take the shot too Surprised

It's very windy here too Pat, the bad news is that the clouds are starting to roll in from the West, so I think they may be heading your way soon.

This was on a day trip to what was called the end of the world where all the explorers set off in search of the new world---the guide told us an average of 20 per year lose there lives falling in.

Yes that's it James, the end of the world. Beautiful place but it doesn't suprise me at all that the fishermen fall in. We drove on to see the lighthouse at Sagres, that was lovely too.

I've managed to book our flat in Padstow for May next year at 2014 prices because I booked early. I also got a big discount on the booking for Greece because I booked early and online Smile
