Since they have their electroics and computer...it's not easy. Besides this expenisve " just out" ....."Dice" game, I've gotten an party game where people have to tell something about themselves and others have to guess if they did it or not.. travel checkers for my grandson's back pack cause in Scouts they aren't allowed to bring electronics on the outtings. Scout master didn't want to play "security guard" out in the wilds with the electronics. Also, new "U-No" cards.. some find the word puzzle booklets, and couple smaller puzzles, one to something I think they like, lik epuppy dogs and another one is Christmas themed. Things to build with lego blocks and also with metal nuts and screws into things. Not to much, but they each get some "cash" to go shopping after Christmas also, plus this weekend outting for them at the Oregon Garden and at the Evergreen Avaiation waterpark, and airplane museum. That about does it. No, I was right they only ordered the one lab test...so I cancelled the doctor appointment and they talk to him Monday to get me into an full Lipid Profile, then made the appointment again about mid of the month...so we know where I stand on the cholestrol readings and the trygylcerides...etc. It's left me stressed out to say the least and partically off program for several days. They claim that alone will up an person's reading because your body produces cortisone, which raises the blood glucose when your upset. It was an lovely warm, quiet night last night...and the local haunted house was full of people there also. It's been raining most all day long today. I finished packing up Judy's last box to send her...which makes three now, buttwo are much smaller boxes then is the one. Hope to get that sent to her by mid-next week also. I finally..after all these "weeks" got back half my money from the traffic ticket of sometime back....still considered an "speed trap" to me. That's how I'll pay for Judy's boxes next week. She's got five strings of the candy cane outdoor/indoor lights and 100 mini strand of lights...and with the ornaments, they take up room also. I suggested to her maybe the candy cane lights around her entry door with an nice wreath on the door would make it festive this year. I got her three little signs for her wall also, funny...the second one says...Those who don't believe in Santa get only underwear....and the three sign says...Christmas..it's an long story!" Something to forget about this year's losing everything. They evaluated her house and property, barn and what not else for $680,000...so if she has to get an Federal Loan, she can go up to that amount. Her ground is just leveled flat...she posted pictures in the earthboppin.net "disaster board". An person can donate to her there also, but she don't look like many are coming in for much money. I suppose to many people hit to hard these days. I figure if I can give her something to cook, make and decorate with that it might help over an cash only donation. I know she likes those also in ways, but I wanted her to actually "feel" like someone cared to give them gifts and help beyong the old gift card for $25. Of course the biggest thing is buying the Christmas tree...after Christmas she can hit the store clearance stores...but until then she needs the basics. Her hubby is 60 and she's 57 and I think she's wondering how they could pay for an new house at their ages. He has maybe 10 years and then he'd have to find an way to earn funds on his own possibly. I think that's why they were trying to build an small orchard...it burned to an crisp also. But they had an few acres in apple trees. About the size one or two people could handle. I guess I go for now. It' s almost 3 pm and I just ate lunch. Talk to you all later on. Tomarrow...Oct. 31st. HOoLLOOOwEEEN..".snideleywhip lash" nasty grin, with eyebrows up and down motion...how many of you remeber that cartoon...he was an Candian Royal Mounted "Possee"...chasing Bullwinkle the Moose all over the tv screen. Kind of like that silly "Wabbit" at Dsiney...Charlie Brown looking for the "Great Pumpkin"....and let us not forget "Peppy-la-Pew" the skunk trying to make love to another cartoon character dressed like an skunk...maybe that was Bugs Bunny also. I go...Poof***** |

Everywhere is packed with it being the last day of half term. Roll on tomorrow, end of season, most of the car parks will be free, which saves £3 every time you want to park somewhere for an hour. |

Will be nicer when it's quieter tomorrow though, when you're not falling ove everyone's children whose parents seem to let them roam everywhere without any regard for anyone else. |

It was getting curb high when I got out there....and got soaked myself in the process. Came back in with my jeans wet up to my calves of my legs. I start my "Avalon" book last night...does this castle named "Tintagel" really exist, I know some of the people like "Merlin" did back then. Ron, I've got my holloween shirt on today, I'm ready..I'll go out pretty soon an get the "pumpkin" pepperoni pizza for tonight...along with an combination pizza also. Coast to coast will be having call in's on spooky happenings tonight on the radio also. Should I call up and tell them about my hellish diet I'm on? For an solid week now none of my Blood Glucose readings have been normal, like the week prior. I hate it when it looks like I've been" imbibing" an night cap... and haven't touch an drop. For us....it's turn your clocks back one hour tonight...so I'll be sleeping in tomarrow...sweet dreams everyone!

It's a ruin set in a beautiful location on the North Cornwall coast. There are some spectacular views of the surrounding coastline from there because it's quite high. |
