We now have this X-class Solar flare coming in, don't know if that was part of this happening or not. They said to be prepared for them from Sept 9 to the 11th. Fortunate where they had this though...very unpopulated area. |

My GP said it could be years before I need an op. By then the op could be done by "Honest Johns Discount Surgery Centre", I think the NHS will be gone ! |

Hood on the wrogn kind of ski's they type don't snap loose off your leg. By the time Istopped rolling, I felt like they were going to pick me up in "pieces"..some here...toes over there...you know. It took me 4 hours to get to the hospital, and to see an doctor, bloody dirty mess. They showed me the x-ray to explain it to me...I didn't break my leg, as you would of seen that...I shattered it...esp my knee cap...so it was, I looked at an thousand little tiny fissures and cracks in my bones..they told me that was why I couldn't stand without help. They put me in an caste from my upper thigh down to my ankle for 6 weeks to heal...but even then it took me several years really before my legs wouldn't go out on me if I slipped on anythng...PLOP!..down I'd go...slightest incline..down I'd go. But it's also when my feet started swellng on me in summer heat also. I think at times I've conquorered usnderstanding it and what to do. My hubby, he has an leg brace now. He takes his medicine an dI take mine. His is the cartiledge problem also. Here's what my 3,000 year old Indian medical book says about tomatoes...Refrigerant..relieves thirst....good for Circulation, blood, heart, cholestrol, hypertension, lowers cancer risk, appedicitus, digestive disorders....bad for toxiic blood conditions, acidity, sciatica, kidney and gall stones, and arthritis. Seeds can cause abdominal problems. Nightshade. This books says to use Cinnamon for arthritis in the joints in particular...so sprinkle away I guess..it's good in many things. In my other book it says that cayene pepper can help also,..or what's called capsaicin, and apparently this is used as something to spread on the skin...they said the first time it may leave and burning sensation, bur after that it should be accoustmed by the body....you might want to go slow on using it, and maybe with an bit of olive oil...to where you could wash it off if it gets to "hot"...this treatment reminds me of that icy/hot cream you buy at the store, none of this in moderation should disturb any medication you might be on also...is relatively easy to find while traveling also. My hosptial recommened to me "Tyenol" also... On Potatoes, it says to advoid them if you have diabetes. And I read another article that says if you "juice" the first 1/4 of an raw potato under the peel...preferably an "new" white potato...you get one of the strongest anti-biotics out in the world market. But it must be "raw" juice...then they recommend adding it to something like maybe carrot juice with it. As to excerises..in the Indian book, medtation as well as ssasme seed oil helps and they say the best time for it in in the afternoon...when you started out and have been moving around more to loosen your joints...then they say to do mild "flexabilty" excerises. Now, if your the Queen of England....you take an little Primerose oil in tablets. I must go for now,..... as my grandson showed up to stay the night.....he just started school, so ther must be "lots" to tell me..catch you all later on. |
