Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 18:13 on 2nd September 2011 Sicko people around here.....someone threw four littlie kittens out of an moving van in North Portland yesterday...one had to be euthanized for its injuries...the other motorists stopped and picked two up and they later found an third one....this is an "felony" in Oregon...listed as animal abuse (because they can be given to any animal shelter with no questions asked)....there is an $1,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the motorist driving an an gold colored van truck. You should see how cute these little kittens are. The rest of the paper this morning lists at least three or four people kicked out of their job for sexual harrassment...or accused of sexual abuse of an minor. An inmate in jail awating trial for raping an 10 year old got turned into authorites by another imate when he was setting up arrangements to have the 10 year old he abused and raped killed..before she testified against him in court. Another gal was on the task force that helps to find missing children...by her team leader. Another one was an 21 year old guy that worked at Safeway Grocery Store and was raping the part time high school students that worked there. The fourth one was an District Attorney of the state, they asked him to leave office...he wasn't doing younger girls, he was harassing his fellow women employees in their job...it just goes on and on day after day...sometimes you wonder if they are made up for the news media or if they all really happened. Sad. At least Mel Gibson the actor is happy....his wife decided she'd take him back into court for more money...and lost. She lost what was an 15 million dollar court setttement from before...down to 750,000 and 50 per cent child custody rights of their daughter....it never pays to be greedy. Weather is starting to turn warmer for an few days and next week while the kids start school there is going to be several hot days for them. They lowered the 7.1 earthquake off the Kuril Islands in Alaska down to 6.8 and there was one just about that in Argentina. I'm counting them all because of what John Houge said the other night. He said 7 earthquakes or "upsets in the world" in September. The Depoe Bay, Oregon Indians are having their "Salmon Bake" Sept 17th, but if your staying in an room near by they are willing to cater some to you....you just can't find better eating in my estimation...they take the local park and do up hundred's of them at an time....on cedar planks the "old way" as they say. From $18 per person...or at least in the past, you get Salmon, corn on the cob, coleslaw and fry bread....all done authentic Indian Style...one day thing from 10 am to 5 pm....and its generally crowded in this small park. Betcha the Mt. Angel "Octoberfest" is around then also. I'll have to look it up and see, would make an good weeekend outting if so. Hoping your all having an nice day. I'm surprised the doctor's have not already " attacked" Sue's little kicking Icon for "research" work. You know how they can be at times. Well, guess I'll go and see what I can get into for today...but I'm kind of wanting to go someplace now that the kids are goiung back in school...for us it's always been vacation time around now....even if it's only little get away trips daily. So..talk to you later on.

I was teaching all day yesterday, (starting to find a whole day is getting a bit tiring), then grand daughter staying over night, then went to look at retirement village today. Grand daughter now gone home and I can relax, lol |
