Now I know what fear is.  Had I not seen and heard this terrible event I would never have believed it.  I have always been very practical, with no time for anything that could not be proved by science.

What happened last winter changed my life. I now know that we must never dismiss anything because it is outside of our scope of understanding and previous knowledge.

A cold December night around 5.40pm and a knock on the door.  As I opened the door I did not notice the cold night air.  It was the sight in front of me that froze me with fear.  There stood a vile creature about four feet tall.  The "face" was grey with a large eye to one side.  Worse was to come, it spoke in broken English.  As I remember this is what was said :

IT. Help me, Help me, I travel from planet Zog, it take me two million light years.

ME. How did you get here.

IT. Zerronic powered space craft to the common then 24 bus to here.

ME. What do you want ?

IT.  I told you it took two million light years. Can I use your toilet ?

Two old ladies out shopping, and they look in the window of a hardware shop :

Mary. Look at that "pure bristle toilet brush, will never scratch.

Mavis.  Worth a try, I will get one.

Mary.  So will I.

Two weeks later they meet again.

Mary. That toilet brush is good, how are you getting on with it ?

Mavis. Terrible thing, I've gone back to toilet paper.

Cathy!! So glad to see you and hope there were no problems for you from Irene.

Hi Cathy! The only problem we had was no power for three and a half days! That meant no cooking, no air con, no hot water, etc. Basically counted on fast food, playing cards and a lot of powder to stay dry! lol It's nice to see you too. Hope you are well. Smile

Ah James...di dyou mean Sam Huston from Texas maybe? he was with the bunch that went with the Alamo you know. they tended to go one of twqo ways back then..TExas or north into Ohio and surroundings areas. Anything in particular you'd like to know? Jim Bowie, the inventor of the long knife is of more insterst to me...why?...ok, this Reverand with the family of George Washington after he died...one of the name is Thomas Davis...which is what one group back east is saying my mother's possible kin...I say no...but anyway, when I went to look him up...his records are sealed at the library and with Jim Bowie's family...so mybe Mrs Thomas Davis was an Bowie daughter prior?...though the family has her as kin to an David Eaton for an father.  Ok, I filed away my papers...who knows where for right now...but this Bowen family shows up in an line with the Reagan family in Tenneessee briefly speaking...and this would be the line to Pres. Ronald Regan..whom was born not to far away from where my Larkins family lived in Illinois. It also concerns the Poage family in Virgnia also......I was going to give you legacy as I had it zeroxed off on an sheet of paper. I rather liked Dean Martin though as an cowboy in his movies. Hudson/Huston/Ludson/Lawson could all be the same kin..depending on who was writing their name.

As far as England goes, I need mroe information on Marston Moor...who it belonged to prior to an battle there....where its at and what's there and what's left of it. Any names tied to it? First Parish church of Jamestown, Vrigina was Martson Parish. Some say it was completely different church then Bruton Parish...others say Bruton Parish eveolved out of Marston Parish. Supposedly daughter "Mary"left money for them to bury her Lawson parents....and to have an brick fence placed around where they buried them....which Bruton Parish has. There is an much an element that those parents graves could of also held templar Knight's wealth from Europe also. I use to belong to the Williamsburg, Va Historical Society and identified one of their unknown graves for them. They at one time tried to dig up some of the graves to see if they had templar wealth in them, but so many people kept interferring that they simply covered over them and stopped. Mary doesn't say whom her parents were, but I take it was Thomas Lawson(Hobson) as he is the only died with his wife in the 1622 Indian Massacre in the area. It has more of an little interesting story that I can't get into right now, concerns Massachuestts also.

I'll see what I can find on Samuel Huston for you...I have several books on the Alamo arond here also. Talking of Dean Martin...the Martin family is described as very handsome people...almost to the point of having an ego about it. They go back an long ways "Pope Martin" was one of the first in Rome...and they are international in how the Martin names is written also. I beleive they too at one time were part of the ruling Planegent family. Probably came off the Charles Martel line. It's an whole history of it's own also.In the mean time I feel like humming the song "Huston" and am thinking of Dean Martin singing it also.

I had an exceptionately hard working day today cleaning off the back patio...and burst right out with sweat running down my arms...my hubby says...."Quit for right now"....I want you to go in an take an cooling bath and rest an bit. I think he was afraid I'd go into cardiac problems...so I did, but it went away.. I could sure use some of my bottled water right now. I downed an bottle of electrolyte drink. Not the same as my water though. I go for now...I still have an bit to finsish off tomarrow...not much in comparsison to today. Later.
