Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 19:28 on 11th November 2011 Yeah, I bought this Solastic School Diary of the little girls life because I know an fella called "the oldman" use to be in "Spirit-web"when it was operating....and he is an "Shaman" and PHD family Psychritris (sp?) up in Canada...he meant an Hopi gal and they became friends and lovers in time...he went back to her family home in the "four corners" area with an group of Native Americans and those with likewise degrees and with their own money they gave these people in the year 2005 thier first taste of ...with the help of Solar panels...."refrigeration"....computers/communication with the outside world daily...TV...an laundry and stayed one summer teaching them how to take care, repair and do all this as well as stocked the old folks with wood and food over winter. As he said, they were living fairly well as it was in ways as to survival...but they were in such an remote area....and needed the help. He said it was like going back in time to go there. Think about that the next time you switch an dial for heat, cook in your microwave and hop in your Lexus...and drive off. There's still people out in the world living an somewhat primitive lifetstyle. |

I read today that major, national electrical retailer Comet was sold for £2. Surely on E Bay they might have got as high as £5? Maybe if the buyer changed their mind they wouldn't get a refund of their £2, and wouldn't surprise me if during the signing of the sale contract, one of Comet's staff badgered the buyer into taking out an extended warranty on their new purchase!
