We had a little earthquake last night.

3.9 with the epicenter only 25 miles from town. A bit close in my opinion.

The house shook significantly but briefly. I thought there had been an explosion near-by as nothing else happened.

We do sit on a fault line, though since living here nothing has happened this close to town.

Today I remember those who died, those who lost loved ones, those injured and those who sacrificed in so many ways 11 years ago in New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania.

Hi Rick!

I am so glad you didn't suffer any earthquake damage Sue!

Yep, 11 years since the unbelievable 9/11! Another of those when you can remember where you were and what you were doing when you heard the news!

Hum Sue..that sounds an bit distrubing...where you live anyway..just wondering what fault your on...we had an small 3 plus down south of me the other day also. ..near Mt. Angel/Mollala...very old and well known fault line.

Ok, hubby goes in the for the new knee replacement on Oct 4th..so all this prep work is what was needed...he changed an bathroom faucet last night and has to hang some sheer curtains for me tomarrow. After losing an pound an day...things changed like I wasn't in my right body yesterday. Diet stopped like I hit an finsish line tape instead...don't know what's wrong...still eating only 700 calories a day. I was VERY stressed out last night for some reason, I slept on my magnetic pad all night long and could feel the energy going ping pong from little magnet to little magnet...dispelling the energy waves of the pain. Woke up at 6 am and fell back to sleep again...on the sofa this time. My grandson is here this morning, he isn't feeling well either...sleeping right now. My new hearing aides came in and started right out by getting one stuck in my ear..the rubber plug, so will wait until hubby comes home and I was able to pick it out with an nail file, but I think I'll get me some tweezers for my purse to carry around. The one I did try out, I heard sound but not enough to hear what was being said on the Tv set.

They said on the news the other day that the Tailban says they would like to "get" Prince Harry...and I wondered why they would say just an thing. Next day 93 people died in Iraq. I see, being slightly psychic... people on the other side...and the other day, I saw what reminded me of of that guy they took down in the middle east last year...he reminded me an lot of my friend's husband named Keith that died of an heart attack kind. He use to call me "Sher-bear" and that's where I ran into him at "Sherri's Restruant" eating dinner. I was going to take my nightly diabetes tablet and they literally exploded out of the bottle all over the counter. I was having to pick them up and count them all over again. The ones that did this were the Metformin...the ones they give border line diabetic children also...and one reason I HAVE to walk everyday...as the sugar is taken into your muscles with this medication. I know I would never see Keith if it weren't to protect the kids...mine and his. They named their youngest daughter with my middle name. When I was talking to Sarah after they put me on this..she knew of the first medication as the ussual one they put people on, but not the one above either. Doctor said something about changing some of them probably the next time I saw her. I also broke out in an rash across my chest..I think I have that one stopped also. Tomarrow is an full day of the Doctor and then followed by classes at the hospital later on.

We just only had enough rain the other day to wet the street, the first in 52 days.  Sunny and the autumn east winds have kicked in now also. We could still use another rain shower though..it's barely keeping things alive...esp the browned grass now.

My book is caught up into the Roman Navy at the moment. Not sure what that will bring to Avalon, but have lots going on in the house so it will have to wait an bit on the reading.

Good to see you Rick and Sue and James...and Cathyml. I read an person sleeps better with thier head laying to the west/northwest.,,Feng Shui.....so I spent yesterday changing an few beds...then said to myself..figures..the Native Americans have said that for an long time,  You face your exit toward the morning sun in Tipi's. Wish they could tell how to get rid of the coughing...once and for all. I don't smoke...so I consider this to be possibly body stress, from the dieting. Hard telling if it's anyone in the family smoking...as many of them do...spirit attachments once again. My hubby don' t and I wish they didn't so much. You would think having watched Karen die, with both her breasts hacked off...from cancer and head tumors..they'd stop it.I remember her youth (age 15) as an coke in one hand and an cigarette in another. Her first husband..he's dying of cancer last I heard also. Kind of sad.  I rember two really good looking young people at one time. I best get going for now.  I hope the new test strips and needles come in the mail today, I'm running out...so will talk to you all later.

Have an good day...and don' t let Ron "lurk" out there on you to much...tell him if it becomes to much of an calling that it sounds an lot like an "Turkey" and this is not the time of the year to be mistaken for  the rascals with Thanksgiving coming up exactly. Smiles*

I have an question...have any of you heard about them possibly finding an mediveal church called greyfriers, in Leicester, England around the end of this August...under an parking lot..which they had decided to excavate. It was the place last known to hold King Richard III body when he was killed in the War of Roses..at the battle of Bosworth in 1485....they have been looking for his body now for some 500 years I guess. He married Queen Anne of Neville and I think was also known as King Richard the Lion hearted..though might be incorrect on that one...I haven't my information right now to check on it.  Question...has anyone heard any more about this over in England?
