I think it's Thursday, but you had me there for a moment.

I hope you are doing well, Richard.

I too have had a weird few weeks.

One of my cousins passed away after a massive stroke. He was so young! Of course he lived in England, so I will not be able to attend funeral services for him on the 28th. So sad!

Then my boss told me that he plans to close the clinic for at least two years, when his nephew gets out of residency and joins the practice. So, at the end of the month the job that I love with all my heart, will come to an end. At least for the next two years, as he promises me that I'll be first on the list to call.

The weather is turning, at least in the mornings. Right now it can get into the 30's early morning and the 90's in the afternoon. Thats quite the range.

Went out to the shop at 5 AM and the air was filled with smoke. Don't know if we have a local fire, or are just getting the smoke from one of the two big California fires.

My army son returns to us next month. He is getting out, and already has a job lined up here in our small town. Hopefully he and his brother will be getting a place together, as our tiny home is not built for four adults.

Right, I think I've played catch-up. Almost beating Shirley with her wonderful long posts. HA!

I don't know what day it is in the US Richard but down here at the bottom of Africa it is still Thursday. Being retired makes it difficult to know what day of the week it is. I have to keep checking my watch. LOL.
