I don't think they have positively identified it yet Peggy.

Afternoon everyone, a beautiful sunny day here, but everything is still covered in ice. We've been down to the cenotaph in the village to place our small cross for our daughters partner who got killed in Afghanistan in 2010.

Hope everyone has a good day Smile

That's nice of you Ruth, one year we marched around Ypres on Nov 11th and placed a wreath at the Menin Gate for the Suffolk Regt because members from Bills an my family were killed in that Regt, Bands from various places around the world were there marching,it was very moving

The West Yorkshire Police brass band have gone over there this year Peggy to play and march. They were thrilled to be asked to go, I just hope their playing has improved since last time I heard them Smile

Not many good police bands Ruth due to the experience of the musical directors--not like the chaps in the Forces Regiments-but still nice to listen to.Smile

Good evening everyone...

Peggy..depends on what's making it act up as to the operation, if it's going to be an continual thing or just an flare up..that once it's past, won't be an problem any more. If her enzyme count it real high theywon't operate either until it goes down somewhat.

Yes, it was Veteran's weekend and then some with discounts all over the place to say "Thank you" to those that made it back safely.......Celebrations other wise with many different kinds.

We got the three houses done...and I got my new shag rug and  I have an the fireplace going...we had pizza earlier ...as my grand-daughter is here tonight...and  her mother stopped in to take my hubby with her in hopes she could get an higher discount off some fabric she wanted to make an blanket for Christmas...she got it 60 per cent off...but they didn't let her have the extra 20 per cent more because of my hubby being an veteran... It started out at $25 an yard. She's happy though that she got the 60 per cent off just the same, it required an coupon...that we supplied her with from our newspaper.  I'm glad the cleaning is done...had an bad night with myfeet swelling up on me..... I think I pushed myself an bit to much.So indeed have been resting...and watching Hallmark Christmas shows already. On the way out to the kid's house today, I saw something I didn' think existed out here any more...an wild turkey...could of stood to been an lot pumpier then it was though...but just to see an live one in the wild these days is something special any more. I would like to see that more often, more deer, more turkey, more wild chickens and ducks. There's something about just knowing they are out there if you ever needed them for food is kind of overwhelming in it's own these days. I guessI go for now and enjoy the fireplace  warmth some more. New week starting..make it an good one..
