Ron, the concern with seeing 11/11..it means "change" in something.

Our flag is out there flying in the breeze this morning for Veteran's Day everything I pretty well closed today as to Govt. and banking and Post office/schools...."Mercy Corps" just took off with supplies for the Phillipinnes and as usual staying there to help them get back up on their feet. Though I heard one time that the biggest help is flying in "Internationally" heavy duty equipment to clean up the debris aftermath.  Usually the United Nations co-ordinates that effort.

I just got up and feel it also..spent last night listening to "coast" and this fella talk about his "air ship" he built..I knew it would take an rotary motor..my  own education points to that also..he says that in his "air ship" it lifts the tail at the same time as the front end..similar like an helicopter..but different set up...I liked the two computer system in flying the thing also...one fails, the other automatically takes over. Anyway...I didn't hear the whole show...just about though..and I've been waiting for so long of something of this quality I can see it's application in saving many lives from accidents these days..I truly feel in so many ways that the car industry is losing it's shirt trying to hang on to out-dated ideas. This is also completely air pollution free to the enviorment...and runs off ethanol...to the tune of about 100 MPG..for up to four people and half that up to six people,...in an bigger "air ship" yet.  Can you imagine the implact of the street traffic in say New York, if people could fly and land on roof tops, instead of driving to work in cars. Let alone the problem that so many big cities have with enough parking spaces. I also liked the guy's idea for an solar car..that gets it's energy from center strips in the road for it's power source...he believes the answer to people live in the mid-west and across the continental divide areas. I think we are way past over do to diversify our transportation needs. I think we should keep gasoline cars...but allow others to come in also. For many of us these days that don' t have the money to buy gasoline...we need other alternatives...same for super expensive cars. I think they ought to add solar powered tractors for the small farmer also...help him cut his costs.  But anyway...sunny but looking windy and cold outside today. I'm not going anywhere today until I get my clothes out of the washing machine...so talk to everyone later on..have an good day.

Not sure what you mean Shirley where does it mean change? I could have written 11/11/11 then what?

That said we all need to change don't we? Maybe stop arguing with each other on this earth and worry about an attack from outer space. Then you'd see the powers that be pull together.

Attack from outer space, have you got inside information Ron, do you know something we don't ? Smile

I don't know where I heard this or if I've got it exactly right, but here we go -

Put one person in a room and they'll be lonely

Put two people in a room and they will agrue

Put three people in a room and they will start taking sides and plan a war.

Sadly that's the way it is and I can't see things changing.

Ruth says>>>Attack from outer space, have you got inside information Ron, do you know something we don't ?

I think it's the next obvious big threat Ruth that's all. No doubt there are files on such an event happening already that we don't get to know about and/or are not informed of deliberately.

Hey, my body is changing shape! Narrow here, wide there, eyes bulging, green face, arms and legs...ah, just a normal morning after a night on the Grouse! lol

Hope you're back to normal Ron Laughing

Afternoon everyone, I've just got back from trailing my mother round the Trafford Centre, nightmare, I have hated shopping with her since I was little, I've never known anyone take so long to make a decision over a purchase. Needless to say I ended up piled up with all the bags, I only wanted to go into one shop but I never got there Frown

I would have done James, I was heading to the Apple Store, but it was packed to bursting and I couldn't cope with losing mother in there, so I'll be going again soon on my own Smile Then I can get what I went for too.

Ron...the number 11 in most numerology circles means "change" is coming. they lit the tall tower on the new trade center building in New York and say you can see it from am distance of 15 miles in the city. It is an red light beacon of remberance.

Today we give my hubby's old car to the Veterans Department, so I'm bound here to the house until they come. It would be nice to get another car for him, which I'm working on as soon as I can escape some of the added hikes of everyday living.  It is raining today here..and giving away to sunshine for the next couple of days.

I generally stay away from the Malls also these days, though we have enough here in town to help to support. All the people give me the feeling of being "closed in" (castrophobia)... and drives me bonkers. I decided I'd give money this year and let them buy their own gifts they want.  Helps teach them economy and budgets at the same time...if they hit some 70 per cent off after Christmas sales then it more then doubles the original amount of money given. So what was $100 becomes $220...and they have yearly school clothes to shop for with it...so they might have the money spread out an little better in the long run...they also have the option of chipping in some money each and going overnight somewhere also.....besides added money for shopping for clothes. We almost always buy winter coats for the next season at this time if needed also.

I finsished off the Christmas Hams and Turkey yesterday on the sales prices being offered right now.  My brother likes his spiral ham you know...so got one for him and an Turkey for the sister in-law...for over the Holidays. I might make some cookies to go with it, but everyone diets these days any more. My sister will eat with us as well as the my son and his family. They have the option of taking this an cooking dinner themselves or for their family..or to use at an buffet "pot luck" type dinner...or keeping for after Christmas to eat when the prices are higher monthly with heating bills to pay...and Christmas bills to be paid. I guess they gave the $160 dinner I gave my sister-in-law to her Grandson (Chris) to cook for Thanksgiving.I still have an luncheon or something for Mary and the girls also...we kind of started that last year...but for the most part...the in depth buying is over with....and soon paid. Got the recliner chair for hubby, and the microwave oven for me...it has yet to be installed. Hubby will get enough money also to maybe buy his outside canopy he wanted for the boat also...I think he could do an better job building it himself though...it would be stronger I think in bad weather.  So now comes Thanksgiving Dinner and sissy's operation and then everything changes into Christmas decorations. I get tired just thinking about it..and my diet...I lost it going to the funeral an week or so ago..and I need to get back on it...and prepare for this winter's writing on my book coming up. I go for now. Have an good Day everyone.
