Good Day..glad it's over for me right now and am ready to rest an bit..I am understanding that my brother's operation meds are giving him lack law called me today to tell me that he's turning his hours around and was asleep..but so was my son as he's working two jobs and somedays he has to be up days and some days he has to be up all night long....my adminsitrator forbade me to hand such an schedule to my employees...she claimed it was one of the hardest scedules to keep in life. But he has no choice at the moment due to the season of the year and the need for family income. All the Christmas presents went out to the kid's house tonight...and we will see them Christmas morning. Then I guess it is that her parents and sister and family are coming for dinner and she invited us also, but I declined...I told her Christmas morning Icould handle but not all day long "visiting". Hubby and I can spend Christmas together once in an while also...and besides...I eat differently when we are alone and it includes things they don't ... like Salmon with my Roast Beef/blueberry gravy/potaot medallions and an salad and light dessert maybe later on. By the end of the day, she's going ot be tired and she's coming down with an sinus cold. Her eyes are turning blue from lack of rest also. Tomarrow I check out our food and make sure it's all what I expected it to be. Maybe let some of it start slow thawing. Let us hope that we receive..... blessings in health and financial concerns the coming year. Happy birthday Yesuha/Jesus.Stoner Chris, I saw your singing an Hawaian song on the CMA Country Western Christmas show and thought of you afterwards for such an long time. Hope you are well my friend.. and content yourself.. and most happy.

I always seem to make too much mash, I freeze what's left and when I've got enough odds and ends I defrost it and use it for the top of a cottage pie Smile

I very rarely throw anything away, and what food waste there is is recycled into bio fuel.

Any bets we will get to thread 50 before the year turns over?...we passed the half way mark.

Shirley is getting ready to write epic tales of an different kind here pretty soon. We left the cookie trays...for the snack trays..now we are into pizza....and then comes dinner. I'm planning on an quiet dinner here, so I am cooking just what we will eat then. I checked my refrigerator today...I have one turkey extra, one ham extra, and two big packages of ground beef for spaghetti or an meat loaf and two packages of riblets. Then the rest of the entire freezer  is in individual Lean Cusine or such type entree's...bread and ansd a few veggies. I will work them down as we get deeper into the time we might have bad weather. So I don' thave an lot of foeed if we lose power...and can ice the big stuff on one shelf pretty much...and put the entree's in an large cooler and take it nearer the kitchen. .

law's dinner...and bought an center piece...she liked turned blue when she read the price tage of an cneterpiece at $79 and started to say..."you didn't" and I said of course not...$23 on christmas cleareance at Micheal's....I got it because it's more earthy colors of nature and you can tuck in picks of the occasion for any celelbration throughout the year.  She seemed happier about that choice I think in the end. I've been all day at this..actually last coupel for days..picking up oranments at half price and 70 per cent off mostly...they are pretty well gone now.

I best get going.. took the grandson home to bring the grand-daughter back with us...getting into refreshing the trays an bit now. Won't be to long...all will be done for this year... on the Holidays.Got your 2014 calendar?
