Just had a text message from my friend in Nothamptonshire, her oven packed up on her around lunchtime, she's had to go to her neighbours house and get her to cook all her stuff, good job she was only cooking for three Smile

Our ears are just about returning to normal having taken my mother and godmother home, I don't think there has been a moment all day when one or the other of them wasn't talking Smile

John..more the "templar knights" perhaps....but then again....I think I've figured this out to the McAdow/Mcadoo side is really the House of "Anjou..." Eurpoean family that got ousted and went to Scotland being templar knights during their persecution era. I've been told our Larkins side derived from "Lawrence" one time also...but I'm more inclines to say from King Authur's Knight "Longhrein" perhaps also. Names I guess don' t matter to much these days unless you don' t know the line your marrying into and we need that genetic information. Could our "heart problems" be an association with "jesus" or "mary"..his moher often called the "sacred heart". What was spiritual.. has become physical.

I did it...I'm cooking our dinner today...first time in 35 years I can think of.... only hubby and I eating dinner together here...without out someone else here. Or we are at someone else's house helping things along there with the crowd showing up. I would like to say we eat much with just each other every night...but you ought to see it somedays...it's like grab whatever you can to eat cause you got to be somewhere at such and such time....answering phone calls and catching up on the news on TV in hurry also.  Sometimes he's late getting home...other times I am...and it's the way of our busy life. The year my mother passed on was the first time in 5 years all of us were togehter for an Holiday dinner....then one of my employees son's showed up, drunk and on an crying jag.. cause he needed an job and well..its what you put up with being an supervisor some days.I watched my adminstrator talking to this tough lookind biker dude, looked like he'd rip you apart at the slightest provcation....I said to her..who is he?...she said would you beleive it's an nephew...don't tell anyone I'm related please. I have an professional image to keep up with the public in general. He turned out an OK fella though. He was following me one time in my car, and I was getting pretty scared by the time he all but forced me off the road to the side and came back to me...I couldn't figure out what I had ever done to him...and he raises me up in the air unexpectedly... and gives this hug and says....I'm an father today of an baby boy..just now..she just had my son...and I wanted to share the news with you.  Whew...blessings for that occurance. Must go an check on the dinner...talk later on.

Hi everyone.  Happy Boxing day (Family Day over here).

Ruth if you got that big a user's manual - how come I only got a stupid instruction book on how to turn it on and what the dials were for?  You did get the Canon Power Shot SX150 IS didn't you?

If so please let me know if it has a longer exposure setting hidden in it somewhere?
