Afternoon everyone, it's very wild and windy here. I've had to go and do my mums shopping this morning as she has a chest infection and I didn't want to drag her out. I asked her to get as much done as she could last week as I knew Tesco would be a nightmare today. I'm still trying to work out how I ended up with a list a mile long and 3 big bags of shopping Undecided

Sounds a bit of "all go" up and around the UK, we had a light dusting of snow last night and expect a wee bit more each day thru Christmas, now, sitting at my desk having enjoyed my Glenfiddich mince pies with a nice cuppa.Rusty, enjoy your Mum !!

Yes, I shall probably have a slurp tomorrow night. Finish work about 1pm and then straight home and get the car parked up. A quick tidy round and look see what rubbish is on the TV and probably settle down with a magazine or two, not to mention POE.

Christmas Day/Evening TV is dire Frown

Sticking to tradition we will be watching the brilliant (well in my opinion) LA Confidential on DVD on Christmas Eve.

Had a quick look when I got the TV book last week and it's a sad thing when some of the only things worth watching are either repeats or classic films like Casablanca. So don't think the box will be on much

Good Day everyone, I'm in here to wish you all an Merry Christmas and Happy New year since your an day ahead of us on the other side of the pond.  It looks like things are about ready and presents are already being swapped ahead of time.  Heavy rain today, but giving away to dry and sunny weather by this time tomarrow. Really warm also for this time of the year. People I bet will be out and about looking at the lights.

I'll try to check in later on, but just in case...Season's Greetings!

Hum...there's hope for the Holidays this year....My new hispanic neighbor came over with nonetheless....over 3 pounds of European Belgium "chocolates"...along with his two sons.  This makes an beautiful poinsetta plant, cookies, small turkey, tea towel and scarfe and hat/mittens... from nieghbors close by, including my sister in-law...while my sister has received an blanket, cookie tray and turkey also where she lives..so it is perhaps people are coming around to be more humanitarian these days....and we all bless each other for an better year ahead in 2014. I'm trying very hard to change the circumstances of the last several years. We use to have good neighbors and then it changed, some weren't so great...and now it's changing back again for the better...or so I hope.
