Yes, I know...the last 24 hours have been like helll on me Ron...I can't imagine how my sister in-law feels...went all the distance to pick her up...got her to the hospital..they did nothing for her Ron.....she could of stayed 50 some miles where I went to pick her up at.. In this storm, we had high winds and five inches of rain in two days....roads have been closed for the flooding going...and puddles cascaded around you car, over your car and scared me half to death. I've been without power, without cable and communications..telephone also...first time even I hung up on 911 emergency.

We had two pretty substanical sized tramsformers blow last night/early this morning...taking out out power...I was worried about some one hitting an major transormer line not far away. She told me that was not her problem, call the electric company...I had no telephone working my cell phone....I wanted her to send out an policeman to see if someone had killed themselves maybe in an car accident...but by the time I had to listen to her say that nothing was her problem...how di dshe know.....I finally said defiant...well, I'm an d high risk heart patient...does that change anything?... and slammed dam phone down in her ear.  She was to stupid to understand that and this was not my cat up the tree either. She needs an change of jobs. this is the kind fo stuff that has people upset these days in how they are performing their jobs. I left my sister in law at her sister's house with an either she gets well on her own, or if she's has an bacteria infection not lettiing her get well, or some such problem...she gets to die possibly....get her leg chopped off..I told her sister before I left her house...don't bring her back to the hostipal she went to..take her to one in Salem instead. In the meantime I had an "ride" back with Jesus  "spirit".. I saw him couple days ago, he took hold of my purse back then, I had left it in the cart...he must of planned that one. It's not something I do reguarly...and I thought it strange that in turning around to go back, I literally made an U-turn with an police car going the other direction in an u-turn...we just kind of went around each other....anyway...I looked over at my purse riding in the car seat beside me today,...remembering that.....and as I drove....I had an rainbow from one side of the freeway to the other for miles above me, with cars on all sides of me spounting off small fountains of water in rainbows also...it was completely awesome to be going down the road with rainbows everywhere you looked, in the sky on the road...I just knew this was more then the sunshine/rain....and I saw my dad this morning also....he's dead you know. He helped me also.  He helped me buy Dee Dee and all glassfigurine with two deers and an Christmas Tree between...and up push an button...and the thing lights up in radomplaces with in it. The rain was finally gone going through Damascus today...and things have drained and back to more normal...tomarrow is my grandson's school concert for Christmas. Awesome today...scarey and rittled with an lot of problems yesterday ...back to Christmas...just as soon as we pick up all our outside decorations and start over again.

You really do go through the mill don't you Shirley! I hope things will get better for you quickly and that Dee Dee gets the right decisions. Don't give up my friend, if you know you are right push ahead 'full steam' and don't worry about anybody else, because they surely won't worry about you! The world has become a nasty place with everybody jealous of each other and prepared to rob you to get what you may have. Perhaps the word 'everybody' is a bit strong but you know what I mean?

The weather problems will subside in due course so it's a case of trying to stay safe and taking care of those nearest to you, hang on in there Shirley!

My hubby finished off last night coming home  from work by getting in an accident with an neighbor up the street on an motorcycle, two houses away...they sent the kid to the hospital with skin abasions on his head and an broken leg when he slid under the front of hubby's truck. No damage we could see to his truck...both lucked out in some ways...this could of been much much worse had they been going any faster...and hubby was able to stop immediately. That must be why I saw my "dad" yesterday...warning me...as I said, he passed on years ago. The storm still has not went away as of yet. The major Freeway going to Seattle last night was completely shut down until this mornig due to an landslide over it near Woodland, Washington. Rockaway, Oregon at the beach has half the town under water and Veronia, Washington has an river flowing through it again. UHaul storage centers have opened up for free.. to help people find an place to salvage their home belongings. The storm slowly goes away now with it's last phase coming in and about 4 feet of snow predicted up at Mt. Hood, rain in the valley...about another inch or two and it's gone. Most the streets have drained now into rivers which are at high crest headed toward the Pacific Ocean....all kinds of school closures this morning and I came home yesterday, with an new warning on my car dash, that I have "low traction"of all things, so for me it will be getting new tires this weekend probably. WE will have to borrow money against our house in order to get them. Hubby spent most of last night on the phone with the Veteran's ...the car insurance we carry with them over this accident. He got the ticket, because he was on the side street..don't know how this will turn out. No, this is NOT an Christmas to remember this year in ways, and maybe my thinking I had to prepare for it last fall was an good indicator of it. I'm still wating for the good time to come of it...though I feel at the moment, Jesus has showed up for me. An bit of "saving grace" going on from total dispare. I have carried an lot of  love for his benovolent protection over me from being an little kid to even now.  They gave my sister an shot yesterday for her nerves...you know she has diabetes. I got an real problem I hope goes away real soon...I can barely sit down, I wore an new pair of black tights last week...and to say it mildly I have an case of itching between my legs and swelling myself, it must of been some kind of chemical in the stockings. I have laid off of everything with any kind of acid in it when I go to the bathroom...and am trying to do what they recommend for "jock itch" I would guess you'd calll it.  They say "stress" can also make it flare up..so am relaxing also. I have to go pick up my hubby and we go to my grandson's school concert today, so best I go for now.  The Gateway Elks Lodge built an new building over in an pizza parlor I use to like to eat at...really nice looking building. One of the few decent looking new things in the area. Maybe there's life for the area yet. I haven't been to see how the Gresham Golf Course is doing since it flooded...the street is closed where it fell through on Kane Drive near the college. Where this water is draining out. Yes, it's defineatly around here an time to "preserve" the mess we are going through.I finally got back my land-line phone....and our cable TV...and our computers....and our power so we have lights and heat again. Still soaking wet outside, hubby's had to reset up the Christmas lights due to weather outside four times now. We have an puddle in the street, we've never had before near an street drain, I hope that's all it is, an puddle.... . I talk to you all later on.

What happened to James???...Hope he's not having this sort of problems....maybe he's hanging his Christmas Stockings or making Plum Pudding?  Have you seen the new foot pods they came out with...look like scooters without the shape, they have more of an skate board look sideways to them, a foot on each side, going straight ahead... $400, but they were showing last night on the news one that had caught fire..so they said to be careful using them.  They were able to extinguish the fire rather quickly inside of an store mall. I go for now...have an good day everyone.

That should of been Veronica, Oregon...it's on your way to the coast on the other side of Portland. Sorry about tthat, my head is full of closures and warnings of what to beware of, and an woman drown yesterday after having driven or ratehr hitting some flood waters...very heavy traffic on the higher roads because people can' t take the lower roads round and about town...not easy to move about one million people in daily communting. Heavy rain as I look out the window right now.  Give us your prayers. Oh...you know my bad spelling, it's now went to Las Vegas through Terra11, and she's having such difficulty coming out of "food posioning" recently..she was hospitalized for it. But I could hardly make out her posting last night.

Tornado over across the Columbia River at Battle Ground and 50 foot waves crashing into the coast carrying one tome logs coming on the beach like spears through through the air...it went through, heavy hail...this morning finds everything calme somewhat.I slept 14 straight house today...so now I have to get working on those "Victorian" Bells as an gift for Dee Dee's sister whose house is like an Antigue Museum...the day I saw her we had an donut from her and coffee and had nothing more to eat until late that night at my house with 3 bits of Fruit cake...while hubby went and got us an pizza...which tasted like it had been made hours before....and  under an sun lamp.

James...good to see you here again. I take it your internet service was out. So was mine...the whole smear...telephone, TV set, and internet. I have an computer on my adroid phone but never use it much..but you know...I got it for free couple years back in an Verizon Christmas "deal" going on back then. My  computer guy says he can not work on it...it has to be done by Verizon only....not to use for my research work and historical  writing.  REst might be OK. bu the can't clear out any hackers on it very easily....which he can do on my lap top with no problems. My brother...and no spirits with him...need to go and see his wife, sho has not divorced him as of yet..she fighting it ..she quite "loves" him even if they don't get along when they are with each other at times. That needs to change...they could probably be the best of friends. If they'd give it an chance. I must get going and try to gets some antiqu bells made for Dee Dee's sister. Talk later on.
