For film buffs----Richard Moore ( 1925-2009 ) co-founder of the Panavision lens/film process for wide-screen movies in the 1950s. Competing against CinemaScope and the fledgling Cinerama systems, the first film using his developed technology was Ben Hur (1959), though in 1965 he'd returned to cinematography, doing the underwater shots for the James Bond film,Thunderball.  I think the first film shot earlier in CinemaScope was John Sturges' Bad Day At Black Rock.

Oh dear! I didn't know the man or the group, but that really is far too young.

Very sad about Stephen Gately. Just seen that they think he choked on his own vomit after a drinking binge - so many young people these days go out & get absolutely drunk & think it is great fun. This tragic death might serve as a reality check to some of them.

Maybe a few, but sadly, a very few. The majority will still think it will never happen to them.
