I too am very sorry for your loss, Rita. Ruth is so right; it helps during times like these to remember that the grief we feel is directly proportionate to the love we shared. God bless you, Rita.

Thanks Diana. I had hope to see her this year while i was visiting my friends in Hertfordshire. You just never know! You just have to keep the people you love close.

Garfield Morgan, best known as DCI Haskins; Reagan's ( John Thaw) boss in the 70s TV show, The Sweeney.

For those that wonder where The Sweeney name comes from; its from Charles Dickens Sweeney Todd; rhyming slang for Scotland Yard's Flying Squad.

Soul singer Teddy Pendergrass has died at the age of 59 following a car accident, and more recently cancer. His hits, and surely the one that we all know included 'If You Don't Know Me By Now' before going solo in 1976

Teddy Pendergrass actually died from Colon Cancer, his car accident was 20 years ago.

I remember the song you mentioned, Ron, but when I just saw a clip of him on the news, I confess I didn't recognise him, He was quite the looker in his hey-day.

Always sad to lose someone so young.
