From what I've read, he seemed like a wonderful, upstanding man who served his community and was generous with his money. 80 seems so young now that I'm getting older. Posts: 8474 Joined: 15th Aug 2008 Location: USA	Posted at 04:48 on 29th November 2010 Leslie Nielsen who starred in "Airplane" and "The Naked Gun" died November 28, 2010 from complications due to pneumonia in a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He said in his 80's that he'd most likely not write another book on his findings in this field...he could hardly talk for his disabilties. Said he fights for strength to keep going these days.
