There can be no other Inspector Morse. |

Can't recall seeing the movie but I did read the book as a kid. Some friends of ours live in the same Wiltshire village that John Thaw lived in. Will have to get some pics of it as none on Poe yet. |

C....... represented the Yakima Nation of Native Americans in several U S supreme court cases, service is March 25th. Much respected, well liked individual. He represented them on legislative, state and federal taxation issues, water law, zoning and envioremental and treaty fishing rights. (Most likely influencing the "rights" of other tribal lands in the US as well) Sucumbed to Cancer..it says of him, while small in staute, he was tall in heart and spirit, he never gave up in behalf of his clients and everyone whom knew him knew where he stood, no one ever questioned his tencity and loyalty. He has so many merits his obtituary covers half an newspaper page of the things he accomplished in his life...remember this is in an Oregon newspaper this is in....child of Dr. Keith and Thelma Weaver, of Ellensburg, Washington. Maybe someone ought to do an movie on his life and times...Alpha Delta Phi fraternity member he was into law 40 years...having been appointed by an Supreme Court judge in Washington D. C.(Morrell Sharp) while he worked for him as an clerk and then graduating from law school...after graduating from the University of Washington. He sounds like an person that made much good for everyone. |
