Whaaaat, foam on the floor, is that really the best you can do?

One things for sure, if I got down there I wouldn't get up again! So it would be a case of stuck on the floor in SA ...yeah that sounds right up my street!

Morning/afternoon to all...

James an air mattress on the floor is better then being tied to an tree to sleep overnight.....besides if you can't get up and have to "wet the bed" it's usually water proof....they come in handy.

Go0d morning everyone...Christmas tree is now up and I was surprised to see it looking much the same as in the White House "Red Room" this year....particularly in size. It took us two days of cutting it down and wrestling it into the room and decorating it...it's twice the size I am...in height.. and takes from the diningroom wall to the middle of the room...but he got an exceptional deal on it. Next year "we" go out together again.. to pick out an tree. I was just waking up the other day and stayed home for the coffee and getting my eyes opened up. Looking at it makes me want to say "Wow"!

I'm  working on cleaning up my house to meet someone tomarrow and have lunch with her and my sister...so will go for now...still lots to do. I have to have the presents concealed by the end of this Friday.. when school is out for the kids...they don't go back until January 2012.... Talk later.

Hi everyone!  Hope you have had a really good day!Smile

" Ron:-Whaaaat, foam on the floor, is that really the best you can do? "

In this tiny new abode of ours we had to toss up wether we had a study where our computers can  be and I can paint - or a bedroom.  As the bedroom would probably only be used 2/3 times a year we decided to have the study which would be used everyday - so no beds and no bedroom!! Hence the foam on the floor!!!

I spent over 9 hours at the hospital - it is such a long drive it wasn't worth coming back home and back to the hospital again!  Mike seems to have come through the anaesthetic better than normal and is able to move around, no traumas with low blood pressure this time.  At first his legs were numb but the feeling is coming back.  He has slept on and off all afternoon and is quite chirpy - and I am finished - kaput!!

It would be my idea of heaven if this procedure actually works - or even just reduces the constant pain, so I am "holding thumbs!" very tightly!

I really appreciate your asking Ron - thank you!

Sorry to hear about Mike Cathy.  I had no idea that he had problems (must have missed it along the line).  I do hope that all will be well soon, for both of you!
