That's good to hear James!  Mike has had a number of ops but the last 3 or 4 he has reacted badly to the anaesthetics, so I was a bit worried about it!

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a lovely day. A bit overcast here and cold. I'm so far behind on all of my chores so trying to catch up.

The maintenance guy is here now replacing the toilet as it cracked the other night. Just heard a loud POP! I'm glad they had a new one in stock and we didn't have to order one.

Now back to my Christmas cards. I think some of them might arrive late but if they do the thought is still the same. Smile

Hello POEsters.

I haven't had a chance to pop in for quite a while and therefore missed the bit about your Mike going under the knife Cathy. Glad to hear he's doing well. I assume it was a back op from what I've read. I had a big one back in '92 and my back is still going strong so I am sure Mike will do well too.

By the way Ron, I am quite sure my old man, who was from Barrow-in-Furness used to talk about "holding thumbs". I could be wrong and he could have picked it oop 'ere. All as I know is that I grew oop using tha' expression.

All the best to everyone and if I don't get a chance again have a great Christmas one and all.

As we say here, "tot siens" and "hlala khahle"
