I'm so far behind on all of my chores so trying to catch up. The maintenance guy is here now replacing the toilet as it cracked the other night. Just heard a loud POP! I'm glad they had a new one in stock and we didn't have to order one. Now back to my Christmas cards. I think some of them might arrive late but if they do the thought is still the same.

I haven't had a chance to pop in for quite a while and therefore missed the bit about your Mike going under the knife Cathy. Glad to hear he's doing well. I assume it was a back op from what I've read. I had a big one back in '92 and my back is still going strong so I am sure Mike will do well too. By the way Ron, I am quite sure my old man, who was from Barrow-in-Furness used to talk about "holding thumbs". I could be wrong and he could have picked it oop 'ere. All as I know is that I grew oop using tha' expression. All the best to everyone and if I don't get a chance again have a great Christmas one and all. As we say here, "tot siens" and "hlala khahle" |
