Well, I crashed today literally... and slept an good majority of the day. I feel better too! My arm has stopped hurting me. I can breathe an bit better also. Tomarrow it's another day of delivering food boxes and gifts...and then my own dinner doings and check on the grandkids again maybe after that once I know I have everything for Christmas Dinner ready to go.

I stayed up half the nnight last night absorbed in this man named

William Francis Pepper....and international lawyer trying to get Sirhand...man that shot Robert Kennedy into another trial....he says he has the evidence to prove that Sirhand did not shoot him.  He cites....(1) there were 13 shots fired that day...his gun could only shoot 8 rounds, (2) Kennedy was shot from the rear, near his ear,and Sirhan was never in that position to have fired the shot there, (3) Evidence was purposedly removed afterward, such as the door that had bullets in it....so that the investigation was not done with full information concerning the murder (4) after 3 years of an mind control de-programming specialist doctor, they are now starting to break the code they had on Sirhan as to his role in this incident...which seems to be an diversion from the real gunman. They asked this lawyer who he thought did it...he said that wasn't what he was concentrating on, as to getting "Sirhan" released from jail...but he thought like most others have thought involved... someone in the CIA...and you know who was ahead of that back then....Lyndon B. Johnson. This is not the first time I've heard of this either. Anyway, the guy was an interesting presenter of his case to listen to last night. He said that Sirhan has been up for parole 14 times because of good behavior and been denied every time...he said mostly because the "Media" needs to think "they got their man" in the murder...not because they actually do perhaps.

We finally get some rain coming in tomarrow...light stuff I guess...and by Christmas morning the entire 24 hours is above freezing, just barely....but during the day its to be about 54 degrees. Anyway, back to being busy again for an bit I guess. They figured the Post office and mailing stuff "peaked" yesterday for this Christmas Season. The lines are extremely long now....where ever you go. Traffic heavy and slow. Talk to you later on...have an good day everyone!

Same for us, Ted. Very cold (see the Weather thread) but no snow forecast. We need the snow, especially in the mountains, as it provides our summer water.

Just found out that I have been elected to host the family Christmas dinner on Chistmas Eve. Means allot of shifting around in the kitchen, to provide room for the masses.

My house is no longer baby proof, so luckily no toddlers, but two new borns. One kid, but at eight, he should be able to entertain himself.

Homemade lasagna is the traditional family dinner for my husband's family. Always nice!

Hubby is actually off work this Christmas. First time in about eight years. So MY traditional Christmas dinner on Christmas day for our litle family.

I'm an early riser, Ted. Usually between 4:30 and 5 AM.

I have been known to sleep in until six, but it usually means I'm coming down with a cold or sick.

Well, I did that for you Sue(came down with an cold)...and got told the other day that my daughter in-law's classes when she returns to college is an 7 am one in the monrning and asked me if I'd go out there at 6 am one day a week to get the grandson's off to school. I just had my hubby come save me from my car not starting at the grocery store an bit ago. They live in boonesville...type rural area....I worry about if it snows....being dark outside and what not else. I thought she told me when they moved there that they had an older woman in the area known for before and after school babysitting.  I guess I see how things go on this an bit later. Her co-worker's chipped in an gave her $150 retail gift certificate...I hope she spent it for some food....I gave her $129 worth of that also. She had nothing in her refrigerator....so I know why now she donated me into making Christmas Dinner.  Being an rental house..they don't have gardens out there either. I guess they fight the deer for the food anyway, but still being able to grow your own plants helps out some. It is not an place to live unprepared for about anything that could possibly happen. I got the food box to my sister...whom looked pretty pleased at receiving it. I didn't give her an turkey....I gave her three small canned hams, 6 cans of white chicken and two cans of corned beef...and boxed dinners that came with their own meat in them also. Beef rice-a-roni, Chicken Alfredo dinner, Lasagna, BBQ chicken pasta dinner, restruant sized cans of apple, peaches, pears...baked beans, and juices..v8 tomato juice, cranberry cocktail, restruant sized packages of frozen green beans, corn, and some cinnamon rolls with their own cream cheese topping. Odds and ends of spices and diced onions, 10 pounds potatoes, macaroni and cheese and two quarts of my homemade chili.....I've been at this for so many years now, I kind of know what she likes...oh...four boxes of Ritz crackers....she misses not having crackers to go with soup when she makes it. To have given her one big turkey might of looked impressive...but she'll have more to eat down the line... with what she was given. Then I came home to an $340 electric bill and the house runs at an 60 degree thermostat which is far from warm. I can feel it blowing cold air under my feet right now. Don' tever get an electric house people.,.,.they are like hell on your wallet for what little heat you get out of it....bad storm...you most likley won't have any heat then either. Electric company REFUSES to acknowledge that the kids moved out of here also. That means five less baths an day...three less tv sets...three less rooms to heat...less clothes to be laundered also. With that, I'm going back to resting to get over my cold...which the zinc tablets did help I think. It got rid of the worst of it. I also made me some fresh celery soup I've been eating the last couple of days also. I pureed it in an celery soup and mushroom soup base mixture...then I pureed some peas in it to sweetend it up an bit and when I serve it, on an based of crumbled up ritz butter cracker (reduced fat type)...I sprinkle grated canned parmesan cheese over it generously and mix it in. I stopped the puree just enough to leave in little bits of the celery. Been eating on it all week long pretty much. So talk to you all later on...not to much going on now.. for the most part. Few day sof rest before the action starts up again.
