You will all have ducks disease soon at this rate. The Coach & Horses must be losing money now.

The good thing about it Syd is that when I returned a little later that evening en-route to Didcot the water had gone, so I suppose it was just the initial volume that caused the problem.

Fancy getting stuck in a place like the Coach & Horses because of the rain eh Syd?

Very nice, with plenty of good beers and food! Should be given a mention in the POE List I think.

I can think of worse places to be stuck Ron. It was very pleasant and the food and beers first class. I think I will pay it a visit next time I am in Britain. Hopefully that will be next year some time. James has it really stopped raining or is it just a brief respite? There is a saying here when it has been raining incessantly and then the sun comes out. They say the sun has just come for a drink.

According to documentary I saw the Ark (Noah's that is) is in fact where the Bible says - sitting in a glacier on mt. Ararat.

We will know we have to watch out then Syd if the global warming melts that glacier enough to let the ark out again!  Then we better hope we can get boats!!

Hi good POE people, hope you had a great day!
