I am back..sipping on my Earl Grey tea..we have no rain in sight for us this week, but they might have some rain up north of Seattle..so what did the weather people say?..."rain forecast for the Pacific Northwest"..then they showed the clouds all dissapear as they came into Oregon....but is sounded hopeful when they frist started talking. Today's generation...professionals at "faking it" in life. Well, got the grandkids back to their house..don't know if they will have any dinner or not Sarah was doing her homework...my son looked "spaced out" sitting on the sofa in his shorts...he got up and decided to get dressed.  I left them with some cinnamon mini-walffles, pumpkin ice cream, whip cream and an bottle of sugar -free choclate for an topping before I left....and Quaker Oats chocloate chip snack bars.  Hubby said he wasn't hungry for me to make dinner, but he was gone an exceptionally long time so maybe he stopped and got himself something to eat. Soup and salad already made though.  I stopped losing weight like I went through the wrong door last week. Will discuss that with the doctor come Tuesday...though if may be for the last time. Until then it's disinfect the house time for hubby's operation this week. Move over "Clorex"....I'm a comin. But first...I'll have my tea. Maybe go look at some POE pictures and think of the places I'd like to be instead of where I am right now. Our hispanics down the street came home with an new black pickup truck...they already have an newer car. Makes me wonder what we are doing wrong.  I guess working in the front office/supervisor for 40 some years meant nothing... Talk to you all later on.

It happens now and again James - maybe because there are other things that need attending to before relaxing in front of POE, like planning holidays, or shopping, or electioneering maybe?

We can see they are looking in, possibly reading the posts without necessarily feeling energetic enough to comment, so c'mon you 'overtheponders' ............'lets be avin yer' as one very famous lady Chef/Cook once bellowed.

Must admit I miss Diana Sinclair though, anybody heard of her around the other social network sites?

Poor Richard being over looked. Not fair mate. I also got over looked as a "colonial". At least ex-colony SA is still in the Commonwealth unlike the ex-colony USA. (LOL)

Hope all is well. I was incommunicado yesterday because there has been a big power outage just along the road from me and it has been 2 weeks already with 6 to go. (Yes things take time to fix here!) The tower that feeds me an internet and wirelss phone service was fed from the source which is out and the nearest resident to the tower has been feeding the station with power from a portable generator. Trouble is they went away for the weekend and the generator blew up thereby depriving the station of power resulting in the batteries going flat. There are new batteries in place and the man has acquired a new generator so we should be ok again.

The cost of all the fuel for the generator as well as the cost of buying the machine and, to crown it all, the cost of repairing the power outage are all being claimed from the farmer who caused the problem by allowing a sugar cane fire to go out of control and burning down a sub-station. The local municipality which supplies power does not have a spare transformer so they are having to import one - hence the long delay in restoring power. Grrr, what an idiot he is. This is second time his cane fires have burnt down electricity supply hardware so he deserves to have  to pay a fortune in reparation now. I won't spoil things by mentioning what type of person he is.

Good morning...Syd..they say that for the world to get hit by an Solar Flare taking us off th grid, we are going to lose it all in an matter of minutes for several years..because they don't have any replacement equiptment for bring the grid up..not to mention the fact that all the nuke plants worldwide may go into to melt-down as they need to be cooled with water when they go off line like that instantly..as was the case recently in Japan.

As to the ladies recently....the east coast took an hit last year with the flooding going on and economic crisis on top of it for many..I think it's taken an lot out of those people in general in rebuilding thier lives. Many have been forced to move and start over again. We inch that way around here with the medical problems and an meager retirement income at times also. Someday we may have to move also, unless our kids get serious about ever helping us. So far it's been vice versa on that issue.

I see there's an big thing about the Muslims taking the women out of thier verrsion of the IKea Catalouge, printed in Sweden. Yep, dictatorship is like that you know...women and children forgotten first..then the animals....everyone else. Where's those tabaloid magazines now? They were so quick to abuse Kate's privacy as an woman....with her legal husband.

The movie I went to over the weekend with the Grandkids was rated #1 movie for being seen across the land...maybe people ( like me) thought it was one of the better to be seen.. getting into Holloween for this year.

Did my walk this morning, but have stayed the same weight now for an solid week.  On the diet also...but it's an Monday over here.  Iguess I better attend to thiings needing done.

Would any of you know if Britain historians have ever put out an book on British military officers in Colonial America?...as to names and rank...particularly involving the French and Indian War over here? Who would I have to contact to find out..would our Paul HIlton maybe know this? I am looking for an Col. Henry Fox...associated with the Adair/O' Darr name. (O'Dere) What they portray so far is   I think possibly "Made up" for him...first they said he was legacy wise part of the famous English family of the "Earls of Desmond" of whom looking up were out of Ireland..not England...and no such name but possibly one even was O'Dare. One of those legacy places sells family crests...says the name came from an varriant of the name of Edgare in the past. I think that may be incorrect also. I do think perhaps they could be correct in that he married and Native American woman over here..as an British officer...and then went back to England at the start of the Rev. War...but where? LastI know of this guy's wherabout was Albany, New York..and this wasback then "Tory-land" in the Rev. War. I need to know also an unit called the "Commander of the Guard" also. They may of been an unit ofBritish Soliders attached to Fort Loudon in early Tenneesee during the French and Indian War. Looking over what's been said so far..it may be the name "O'der"..equals O'Darr/Adair later on...started out as an member of the "O'der of Scion"...Templar Knight's. That was in records the only way they spelled the organization...which equals later on "Masonic Lodge"...of which my mother's family have records of being in Tenneesse since the late 1700's. Peter Adair in Cherokee books says he's Native American and part of this family later on works as Indian agents and interpreters for the Cherokee filing for script money as Native Americans. They belong to the Wolf Clan.

The Wolf Clan in Canada...say that they are the children of one John Larkin in earlier history...Peter Adiar in "Cherokee By Blood"Govt. application records says that his father was known as " Ju-nu-lu-hus-key"...I think probably John Larkin..but there is an Laskey family also...as "Lackey"...he's beign touted with an mother named Margaret that's Irish..but I think in reality he was an Delaware Chief's son...of the "Turtle Clan"..maternally...Not Wolf...but he could of been claimed wolf by his father as they have that Clan also. Very important man to history that was so beloved they formed and so called "Society of Cinncinati" much like the Masonc Lodge to keep his name alive...sold originally the ground of Manhatten..when the Colonist arrived. Some people sneer at him these days as stupidfor doing that...but he received what was then "blue wampum" shells that in his eyes... was receiving "God" back then....remember the story of the "Blue Shell Dye" I did last year...that is in the bible and spoken of by Moses as an contract between "God" and his "Chosen people" on the mountain he claimed the 10 Commandments from? I beleive the "Lucus" family is also involved with them all as well.  I think especially getting into Canada during the "Trail of Tears"  or the Cherokee removal out of Tennessee into Oklahoma. That was such an bitter fight, one faction of the Cherokees burnt down Fort Loudon, the old British Fort. James Lackey was said to been raised by Chief Hanging Maw...his wife as well as the Shawnee wife of Techumseh was of the "Turtle Clan"...know to the "Delawares" earlier.  They have an legacy written in an cave that explains them to maybe be one of the "Lost Tribes of Isreal"in their history. The Delawares wereone of the first Christianized Native American's by Moravorian Priest's in early Colonial America. For that "honor" they were also savagedly murdered twice by the European's(Scot-Irish particularily)...and more of less indeed kept "lost" to records. Indians didn't keep written records anyway, but orally...but the British military may have. There is more ot this also...but this is lengthy enough for now. As to the Fox name...I think of George Fox..Quaker founder of that religion. My Read/Reed family are much interwined in New Jersey/New York/ and Pennsylvania. I think he may of been more of an lover to an wealthy widown woman, possibly became part of the Beguine movement...kind of an "nuns" society outside of the Catholic Church....first founded for the widows of Templar Knight Crusaders...included many of Euproean Royality lineages. Catholic Church fought them for their rights to hold onto their leagacies of wealth..often persecuting them as witches/torturing them..etc...much as they did the Masonic Lodge member ans the "Oder of Scion" ..later called Priory of Scion or Masonic Lodge. My next book series will hopefully start off with Peter Adair, Cherokee and go backards in time..into Euproean Royalty lines over here and then into the "Gold" Issue over here..and world wide...as the Royalty guilted their Castles in Gold furnishings. The first US "mint" was in Tenneessee...and was indirectly the cause of why the Government took on the role of removing them off thier land as Cherokee's  and onto "Indian Reservations" to begin with. This also of course deals with our Lawson family (Planegent) also.
