At this time of the year it grows so fast you can hear it at night when all is still. Sometimes in the wee dark hours if one listens carefully one can hear the weeds and the grass competing for the fast growing record. Their chuckles disturb the the stillness of the night while the mower groans in trepidation as it contemplates another day of hard work. I wonder when someone will invent a viable automatic lawnmower so, as one can leave the pool cleaning to the Kreepy Krawly, so one can leave the mowing to the lawn crawler. What a thought! Have good evening all. |

It is good for the heart you know. So says Dr. Oz anyway and that's my excuse and I am sticking to it. Where I live it is so quiet at night. No traffic, no people moving around and only the occasional Jackal, wild cat or wild boar to be heard. We had a HUGE storm tonight with high wind and lots of rain. I went to the neighbours about a mile away for supper and just got into the house before the storm. I havn't been able to assess if there was any damage at home becausse its too dark to see now. Hopefully all is well but I shall find out in the morning. Have a good evening all. |
