Sissy here with us, we got into "shopping" and bought things for Christmas this year and things to make an craft work with also. We bought some lunch and took some dinner over to my sister in-law and played an game of cards, baked an cake of brownies...and the boys are here tonight also. I put everyone into bed for the night to go to sleep. That's where I am headed also. Been an long day. Hubby raked up our leaves today...it's just like an dividng line from our house to our neighbors with leaves on thier side... and none on ours..looks weird in ways. I would guess here soon they will have blown back down out of the trees and left us some more to rake up. Will be that way until the trees are completely naked more or less. I have always heard that if the trees leave some leaves on the branches... it's going to be an cold winter Nature see's to it the birds have extra padding in picking off the spare leaves then..putting them iin their pine boughs for extra insulation. |
