That's how I meant the Reverand in years past...he had gotten from an church member the use of tractor/ plow for his church parking lot...so he decided to come down our street and plow up the thick snow as many of us had been snowed in for several years being seniors....and I went out to thank him..and he said.thank the Lord and the man that helped give this to me so I could do the task. I thanked him anyway and went to his church and gave him $20 to use to help others with. We spent..my sister an I...Christmas Eve Mass with his small group....and he had but an single guitar player and an candlight mass. It was so simple and so wonderful. I enjoy the bigger mega church groups also..they do an service of help also..but there's an place for everyone in the service of the Lord.No matter how big...or how small. Remeber the " joy" Jesus felt at having his feet washed one time...and I can imagine walking all day how they must of ached and been dirty and needed messaged at the very least...and no doubt anyone cared if they did. Except one person..who did...insignificant as they were at the time. I guess I go for the day..I slept in this morning and I don't have time to really do that..but it sure feels great somedays when I can. Talk to you all later on. Have an good day..we got sunshine amoung leaves glittered with wetness..makes them sparkle like they are diamond studded leaves in this sunshine. |
