What a lovely thing to say ladies, thank you so very much.  One day I might even get a decent camera! lol.

Love photography, especially the artistic shots!

Thank you for your lovely photos of England too Peggy & Marjorie, I really love looking at them.  Both are of areas of England that I don't know well!

Good morning everyone!...now I know why the Lord rested on the 7th day..he must of contimplating the day he'd have grandkids around..smiles* they all went home just an bit ago..happy I think including thier parents.

Some of the photogrpahs that people summit to the web site would make excellent "puzzles" year around. I like "quick" easy puzzles that only take an little time to build because I'm always on the go and hate to tear one down I've got half built. there was an Christmas picture in here an year ro so ago that was an city scene with blues and purples that was an wonderful picture for something of this nature. Once again and little history on some the castles inside the puzzle would be interesting also.

Well, "Judy" broke down and joined in an "lightworker" prayer that we cant' be stopped when it came to miniualizing the disasters world-wide and we receive arch angel help and blessings to continue our work for the greater good. She is an powerful lady herself.

Besides leaving details on how to handle feces when there's no running water..they left this suggestion...Homemade Sterno Cans. You will need....1 empty quart sized "new" paint can(metal)...1 single roll of toliet paper (take out the center cardboard center)...1 bottle of rubbing alchohol...1 large finsihing nail....1 book of matches. Open the paint can and put the toliet paper inside. Pour the rubbing alchohol inside...put the lid on tightly so it won't evaporate. You can now decorate the outside of the can if you'd like..with stickers or such. Tape the nail and the matchbook to the outside...to light the rubbing alcohol after using the finsihing nal to pry open the lid. It makes an perfect marshmellow roaster, and if your responisble in handling it ...good for emergency prepardeness in cooking. It also makes an great gift to give also...when people are out playing in the snow during the Holidays. Same goes for the metal decorated cannisters they sell "popcorn" in around the Holidays...to use one for an emergency in an car...palce it in your trunk..and have several med thickeness candles to use inside of it...punch holes in the can top...take out the popcorn to eat...and place in the candles, light them and put the top back on...done properly it will heat an car inside easily and keep it above freezing.. without having to use the car battery or starting the car and using up your fuel if caught on the roadside in an snowstorms. Two cans are better then one. Be sure and open one of  your windows about an inch for ventilation.

You know what..i can remember in the old days...leaves falling in the autumn were never an problem to anyone. It was considered as part of "God's" nature to happen...and many of the insects and animals they need these leaves, they keep the flower and plant roots from dying off...kid's use to play in them...one of the easiesst survival tips to teach your kids is how to stuff dry leaves between an sweatshirt and an coat for insulation..or in plastic sacks and then put them between two layers of clothing. Lost hikers have been known to use this technique to help save thier lives from hyperthermia sleeping out overnight...it wasn't until we all had to change God's ways of doing things and have pristine yards that leaf raking started...and of course the landscapers found an way to make it an payable job.  So like f one person does it..everyone seems to think they have to do it also.

It's only real salavation is in keeping drainage ways open during rain storms perhaps. For hubby...it gives him something to do to get excerise. it's kind fo nice to have the driveway done so wet leaves don't stick our feet getting in and out of the car...but I don't mind them on the lawn..for th emost part they don't bother me. I see thesebrilliant colors of nature as an welcome from the usual dark raining days and black asphalt roads with their burst of colors. It is that "everything" that is in nature was put there for some kind of purpose and use. Since 1794...this country has lost nearly 90 per cent of it's virgin timber lands..and they wonder why we have climate change these days and not a good one either. Over in Thailand they are now implementing "nature" laws...as corporations came in to literally carry away thier soil to make an huge island for an huge cascino  resort over there...destroying all thier fish habitat that were feeding the people...for free..I might add also. These people have no money to go to an cascino. But they have now to find food to keep from starving to death. The plain and simple fact is that we ar eletting our money and our need for it..outrank our Lord these days and what he provided for us in the beginning. Most the trees across America use to be either nut trees or pine evergreen trees...many of the nut trees are also hardwood trees also. Much of our maple sugar...our chestnut "flours"..and eatable chestnuts, hazlenuts and walnuts came from these trees. They are the harvest of "winter" that God gave us from summer...to keep mankind alive. They could no more these days help anyone survive..because they simply don't exist any more. What does is so mismanaged and full of inscest from poor framing techniques..many of them are barely suriving also. How important are trees?...had they not stopped the pilferation of the Braizilian forrests and in the Amazon region...of which trees help to create their own daily weather patterns there...that keep the climate from the northern Latitudes separated from the weather of the southern latitudes intact...we'd not have an season between the north and the south of the equator. Therre are people in the world that even now walk miles a day to reach firewood to cook and heat on. They have no idea as people how to refine oil products for the most part to use daily. Only an bimbo destroys the earth...and it seems like everyone pays for it also. Our need to be so special inbeing "pristine" will end up killing the planet ...if we arent' careful.Same goes for not retaining plants like blueberries for landscapes....grapes...aplles.. over those plants that produce no food items for mankind...God gave us these as his gift to our welfare and care...we should respect that... they should be here for the next generation also.

gosh..day has nearly ended....kids went home earlier...and I went to the Fabric Shop..all thier Christmas fabrics are on sale 50 per cent off and got my fabrics for my little canning jar "snowman" family along with the ribbons and embellishments for their hats...so I think I'm about all ready to start painting them first. If I hurry up on this and it comes out nicely..I might be able to give it to my daughter in-law by Thanksgiving Day to traditionally start the Holiday Season. Some of my projects turn out super good..others I'd like to hide..laughs*...hope this one goes well.

Remeber here last year we were all talking about Hazelnuts, which we call "filberts" and I think you people in England call them something else...well, I came across and Hazelnut cookbook of all things...and just had to get it. It has some really interesing receipes. But alas...I've lent out most my long casserole sized dishes to the kids in various foods I've made for them, so its time to get some of them back... or I might be buying some more... instead of her. With that it's lay back and rest time for Shirley tonight. I was relaxing by looking at some of the photos summitted to POE tonight. I just the other re-found my book again I was reading about the Howard/Boylen family and King Henry VII's other wives. I have quite a few of them that came over here as relatives also. I'll have to getback to reading it also. Took my 5 lap walk today and ran into another neighbor up the street..who tells me they are all watching me and think I'm doing so good...and losing much weight. and want to wish me the best at doing it...hum...haven't lost an thing in four weeks now for some reason..and "trick or treat" was not easy to deal with either..it's finally completely put away today until next year now.time to "move on" as they say. so will talk later on....Ron..How that birthday go?..let us all know more about it. What kind of goodies did you get..."Blushing Hot Red Peppers" in an jar....Grouse Club Sandwhich with free birthday "fill-up"?....  "Rosie in the round" ...whatever that is? I made an small chocolate cake with falling leaves and I had M and M candies for the direction they fell to the ground and my grandson slipped the cake into their room and ate all the  candy goodies off it and handed ti back to his dad to take home. But it just didn't look the same..if you know what I mean.Propably good just the same...brownies with whipped chocolate frosting. the leaves were plastic...and so were the two little turkey's so there was green/orange/yellow/ and brown leaves still left on it...along with little orane and brown turkey's...kids..what can I say?...goodnight all. Have an good week coming everyone.

Thought I'd better come in as "Dancing with the Stars" comes on tonight and hope tomarrow with the election results going on also. I'd rather watch them dance then the voting tallying, as they won't know the results until the next day anyway and we can see the recent works on the evening news . Grandson showed up today for me to babysit..his mother gave him an hundred kisses and took off to her college classes...said she's be back by 5 pm. to pick him up again. So with his stuffed turttle..he's out wat watching cartoons but wants my computer next.  Lots of pretty pictures out there right now with the right camera..the tree leaves are all an coppery orange color this morning. Looked up last night to see if I could find any "fresh" chestnuts locally for an receipe I have with salad greens, "roasted" water chestnuts and an pumpkin flavored vinegrette dressing. It sounded better to me on the calories then does the pumpkin pie right now. Anyway...have an good day as ususal.
