Just popping in quickly as Syd has sent his storms up here to get rid of them down there! Power keeps flicking so don't want to take any chances. This is the third time the storm is coming around today. Hubby was held up for two hours getting home from work, in the pouring rain, because a couple of huge blue gum trees had fallen across the road!! So he wasn't very happy when he eventually got home! It was a long drive for him today! Hamba Khashle - Go well. in Zulu!!

They sell an old kind of wood spa tub with that kind of heating element of firewood in an box under the tub and then the water circulates around the box. But then again, if your local health club is still 35 dollars an month for unlimited useage....you can get an hot shower there or go swimming in many of them...I had at one time such an health club package. I use to go several times an week in the evening and use the machines also. Sure does beat trying to excerise in the pouring down rain. I don't worry about our water hereas it comes off Mt. Hood and the whole line into Portland is "gravity"fed...we found tha tout after our first winter here when the pump froze up at Mt. Hood...whatever was in the line came ot our housesfirst over going into Portland. It was simply an matter of filling up your bathtub...and buying drinking water otherwise, though the city is so huge now...they pay attention to getting things running back in operation as soon as possible. Cathyml...you and your storms...they sound dangerous at times. Ikeep thinking Storms are suppose to be safe and romantic with an cozy fireplace crackling away. One where you can cuddle up and be comfortable...and wait things out safely...read an good book or some such. Would you like some "no bake" cookie receipes?...just joking. I use to have one for Museli balls...that could prove to be an receipe and then some...winks*. I'm just joking...it really is an receipe thoughSomething like Museli (trail like mix) with dried apricots and hazelnuts in it if I remember correctly. I promised everyone sodm jokes didn't ...let me go and get my book.... |

How many of you have had that kind of an conversation in the past with someone? I know an guy who's addicted to brake fuild. He says he can stop any time. How does Moses make his tea?....Hebrews it. I stayed up all night long to see where the sun went. Then it dawned on me. When chemists die...they barium. The letter from my doctor said I had Type A blood..but it was an Type-O. How do you make Holy water? Boil the Hell out of it. Of course the Indians were here first. They had reservations. (Enough for now folks) |

That is gooday and how are you or how's it going! The reply would be Ngyaphila! (I'm am fine). Well at least I hope you are all fine. Storms/pouring rain still! Yuck - not used to this wet stuff! Bit it is quiet at the moment so I thought I better pop in quickly and see how you all are! Have a great weekend! |
