Yesterday was an absolutely "bear" to put with....I was ready to scream by night time...but anyway..I made the chicken dish yesterday, used an bit to much olive oil but other then that it was pretty good over all. I'll change that the next time.  We got us another tree yesterday...an 20 footer for $55....an" goodblood" red maple at wholesale price and planted it ..so have to re-do my border and go get some moss and weed killer with fertilizer and if we can get that down and an couple sacks of bark dust before the rain sets in, I think the yard will be ok for  an while. So will talk to you all later on tonight maybe...when it gets darker. I gained four pounds this weekend from the stress of it all...and the inabilty to take care of myself with my diet over everything else going. Dr. appt. is mid-week.

Afternoon Pat, it's not fit to step outside here, blowing a gale as well as sideways rain.

Your new tree sounds nice Shirley, sorry to hear you've had a stressful day, and about the weight gain, I'm sure it will come off again.

Ah, and on the third day the forums are back up again...POE has risen to newer heights I can just tell. Sun just came out. Hopefully can get some walking iin. I didn't make it without those 4 pounds when I went into the docotor yesterday...he set up for me ot have an lipid profile test in June whenever I want it to see how...I'm progressing in the diet.  Hubby went for his eye exam getting ready to have his cateracts removed at the end of the month early this morning. I found an tour over there, I'm sending Judy, in Washington...with data on the area and history also..it's tow day tour...one is for Canterbury Cathedral, the white cillf's of Dover, and the ancient Roman baths/Spa's at bath, England...and the seond one is Windsor Castle, Leeds Castle and Stonehege. If you stay in thier recommended hotels in London, you get picked up for the tour from your hotel and taken on this air-conditioned coach....with an tour guide and an maxium of 16 people.  They are full day tours also...10 or 11 hours total. So I imagine one would want an day ro so between each one of them. But they both cover to me some of the most interesting tourist spots known in Britain also. Since they had bulbs half priced this week, I'm sending her some bulbs to plant to cheer her up. Some magazines also, one is "Britains Best" with an article in it about Canterbury Cathederal also.  I'll try to not keep this post so long...so talk later on, have an good day...they are starting to haul out the hanging potted plants at the Garden centers of stores now.
