A lovely day here in between the Hailstorms,

Went out for lunch then onto Sidmouth for our 53rd Wedding Anniversary,

I went in an olde Sweet shop at Sidmouth for some Bulls eyes Mints, but the assistant just looked at me and said they don't make them any more,  so ended up with some other sort, only wanted them as i have a sore throat,  [i must be old] as i can remember them being called  Bulls eyes

I have my oldest grandson with me right now...but I'm "spiking" in my blood sugar at 232 points this morning...my health insurance called me yesterday...we talked some about my dosage of diabetes medications and this "spiking" I told her then that these kinds of reading come out of the blue as if I'd been drinking alcohol recently...and they aren't good...at 300 you could go into an diabetic coma. I've already wen tin at an 275 spike couple of weeks ago...bunch of "BS" in my estimation.  My hubby goes in tomarrow for his eye surgery...so am working on that one right now, I'm going to try to make dinner today for tomarrow...for my daughter in-law and hubby and I.  So when I go out to be with all three of the grandkids, she will have dinner fixed when she comes home with my hubby...they have to be at the hospital at 7 am in the morning....then have to be back there the next day for an check up...I opted out for the massive rush hour traffic to get up to the Vet's hospital..she knows I could never deal with the traffic. This is Spring break for the kids, they are sitting at home staring at their electronics right now, bored to tears....so I gave them some money for an movie tomarrow and talked to their dad about an day over at the coast this week, they can buy their own lunches if they go and they can pay thier own way to see an movie also.   It's hard for me to do any work with this spiking, as it hits my left thigh and puts it in an pinched nerve feeling. This makes twice now I've told the medical personnel that I have no idea of why the spiking when it's not warranted...I've not eaten any sugar...closest I've come to that is the bone density meds I took this morning...and I didn't have those meds when this all started.  At any rate...off to make chicken nuggets.... and twice baked potatoes..and then I have shopping to do also. Kids asked me for corndogs also. I thought an tray of fresh veggies also, and maybe an decandent carrot cake also. Talk later on..next couple of days are busy ones. I don' t need any health problems right now..or forever for that matter of fact.

Shirley, hope all goes well with the eye surgery tomorrow.

Congratualtions to you and Bern on your 53rd Wedding Anniversay Pat. We've had a bit of a funny weather day to, sunshine and snow. You can't beat a packet of Fishermans Friends for a sore throat, but beware, the little things can become quite addictive.

Thank you Ruth...hope all goes well indeed. I did all the cooking today...took it all out to the daughter in-laws house....finsishing up little things around here to go out there tomarrow to be with the kids... while hubby and the daughter in-law head into the hospital. I made enough food for us all where ever we are at for several days...so we don' t have to worry about it...now if I could just get my grandson to eat his dinner...he slept all afternoon. We have one massive mess of rain headed here before it clears up and gets up to 70 degrees for several days. I guess I go for now, it's been an intensive last 6 hours for me...I need the rest. Talk later on.
