They just hauled off Randy's younger son by emergency...they tell me he was an diabetic..."in an very bad way" right now. I don' t know if the young girl with the infant baby in her arms walking outside was wife or kin of some kind. What an bummer.

That makes myself and two other neighbor"s diabetic apparently....within an five house area locally.  I think if I were as young as this kid is, I'd go the route with DR. Christopher wilde in tissue culture and get rid of it...once and for all. AS far as I know... as long as it's listed an research procedure...they pay for it all.

No "partying" around here with all this going on.

Afternoon Pat, they were interested, really liked the house, but I think maybe a bit to old for the 3 flights of steep stairs. They got a nice view of the snow covered hills though Smile bloomin weather !!!

That was what was nice about my sister in-law's house...it sits into an hill..so the top level is ground level...she only had to walk one level down out the patio and she was ground level down there also...sides of her house were sloping ground though.  My house is an series of decks within stairs...and I use the garage to get ground level entry in front...or patio  out back. I have an lot of people don't come see me because of climbing the stairs. That's why I have to have teh so called "family room/great room downstairs. Easily resolved though with an personal elevator and walkway one story up outside..over all the decks and stairs...if I had the money...someday might have to put in an wall and fill it in up along the side of the house. But it keeps me in good physical shape daily also.

Today is Friday 13th over here...not really an unlucky day either. Day they set the Templar Knights ablaze on the stake in France. Klu Klux Clan did simliar, but no one made it an notable day in history...they were more into hanging thier victims. Which is how the ghopher in my front makes me feel right now...like an "victim"  of his "Spring salad" munching on our turfed grass out front. May it rain eough this weekend to wash him out and he's but an short way from the main neighborhood underground electrical line..take the whole grid down if he bites into that and fries himself instantly. Time to move on. Time go go walking before the rain comes in for the weekend. I'm still swinging 3 pounds an day on the diet..but on it just the same. My sister got an call from her pharmacy back east telling her not to take Ibprofen...daughter in-law says maybe they changed her meds and she's already got an blood thinner in them. I said, well, I take Bayer asprin...she says its not the same.  She says there's four differnt types of what we call "pain killers"..Tylnol for arithritis, asprin, for blood circulation, Ibprofen for  for general pain," advil" is in an class of it's own for pain also..most often used for dental work. I go for now...have an good day everyone!

With the two days of rain coming in right now, decided to go an get my sister last night...we had an "St. Partick's Day" luncheon meal here....Irish Stew meat balls filled with swiss cheese, topped with keetchup and green onion tops ..in an sharmrock shape...three corners off an double fiber whole grain bread corn beef sandwhich 9mustard and oilve oil mayo/lettace)...same thing...shamrock shaped.....and an cup of minestrone soup, and mini shamrock cupcake with one mint chocolate waver.after dinner mint. Coffe with French Vanilla coffee creamer....Then I took her back to her house. And..so it rains. But we greatly need this for the ground moisture to keep things growing and green. So I go for today...soounds like Ruth needs an fireplace crackling away today. I started another book, I've heard an lot about called "The Alchemist"....when I left the young shepard boy... ran into an older man that seems to know all about him...called "Melchdezack" (sp?).....whom is an being from the " Great Brotherhood of Light" part of the spiritual servants of Jesus/God..he apparently doesn' t know that....I've ran into them also unknowingly at the time. They put an like translucent "bubble around" me for protection...I was very nea totallyr collapsing back then...it was just after I had my Ski accident at Mt. Hood and flip flopped down the hill with my ski's on...I didn't have the kind that broke off the binders back then...so I laid there until people came to help me wondering if my leg was still attached to my body at all. They had to pul me down the moutnain on an tarp. Three hours later in Providence Hospital I was finally admitted to emergency...dirty..wet...they gave me some surgical clothes to wear, took x-rays...did I break my leg, no..I shattered my knee cap...so they put it in an cast the next day from my hip downward to my ankle and put me on crutches ...after the leg stopped swelling.... and I lived in them for about 6 or 8 weeks. I remember "something" very benolvent coming to me...later on I was told it was the "Brotherhood of Light" prescence...I thought maybe Jesus at the time.  Very loving to be held in thier arms..total peace...slept several days continually before waking up again. I was checking on one of our scout's daughters whom had ran into an snow bank..crying...on her way back to their car...to see if she needed help. Next week another kid would do the same thing she did...in the same place... and would die. Never under-estimate the mountain as they say. This young shepard was told ny an gypsey to go to the pyramidsto find an treasure..in his dreams several times. Will see what ahappens next, but you know...it's not just about the treasure to be found on earth some times.

With that...go an enjoy my rainy day...Judy called me in Washington to tell me she got her flower bulbs... and she was greatful for them... and excited now to plant them and happy as all get out that someone cared I guess. I talk to you all later on.
