Morning/afternoon to all, hope your day is good.

Shirley your post suggests to me that you are being deprived of cakes, sugar, sweet things eh? I reckon you need to settle the hunger pangs now and again, eat one small cream filled sweet sugary cake, chocolate or whatever you need to get you past this and then get straight back onto the diet. There the Doc has spoken! lol

I already thought of that one...while out shopping I bought an indivivual valentine shaped strawberry cheese cake for hubby and picked me up an small tart about and half inch thick with some kind of creamy pudding in it and topped with fresh fruit....ate that. But I'm about to go out for an Salmon dinner right now and skip the crowd tomarrow...and invited my kids over wednesday night for an anniversay dinner...Roast beef. Built the bookcases last night and filled them up and finished up just an bit ago hanging pictures...looks real nice. I did walk my 2 miles today though...that should of helped an bit. Feel like I could rest but called the kids to take some Valentine Candles out there and some more strawberrry cheese cake...then I can calll it an night.... Relax.  Yes, how are you all doing over there with the kissy smochy festivities?...smiles*  Hanging off rose trelies singing your heart out on an" love song" naturally..winks*

(As soon as my stomach starts leaving... then I know the diet is working)

I'm watching an man slam on his brakes out in front of the house...got out...wiped his coffee off his pants andgot back in an took off again. We got an wild wintr storm going on this morning...wind dark to where you need lights to get up and rainy. I was aches an pains galore, so went back to bed and turned on the electric blanket and let them melt and the pain out of me...along wiht an asprin....livingroom and diningroom finsished, hubby just vacumed all the carpeting for me.

You all know Christchurch, New zealand had an 5.7 quake followed by another almost as high quake off the shore of Japan in their islands...so far no casualties...though Christchurch area lost an cliff on an hillside area and damage.

Ok, Ron....Hazelnut encrusted Salmon/brocolli/green salad with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes and blue cheese dressing, roll for the salad, one for the dinner, coffee, and yes, one piece of Marionberrry Pie. So taking the data down this morning...one month now exactly...I've lost 7 pounds...my blood glucose from last night was 198 this morning but not to bad if I can get out and walk some today...but glucose also was 325 one month ago. I'm having an big green salad with tomatoes and steak for Valentine's dinner here at the house... and it's over with for this year. Yes, there's times I do wish I had someone to lean on an feel like an little kid again on my parent's lap being comforted  with an hug and that things will be "OK" in the days ahead....something my real parents didn't do to much either...why I'm so rough and tough in my ways..and fend for myself many times....and I've always felt like Jesus was the one showing up when I needed help.  I've been through two near death expereinces that he's showed up in already.  I go for now..talk later on and see what I can get into for today.Take care everyone...later.

James's picture tells me he's Italian maybe...why he never gives up on blondes maybe?...I thought I'd done myself in when I read my blood glucose this morning...went walking at the Golf course and came back from 225 when I started down to 187 again...so very close to the 180 mark now.  My ears are presenting me problems...they always toldl me after the heart stent that there was an possiblity if I got my cholestrol down...I'd get my hearing back again. But in the mean time hubby got an hearing aide for $50 from the Veteran's Adminsitration....what they told me medical is the reason why I won't go for an pricey hearing aide as it is...they say they start around $600.  I use my "Radio Shack" amiphiler for $30...but alas, I don' t think they are making them any more...as of last year. I eee partly cloudy skies today with some patches of blue...I  might go another mile around my area before going to bed. Dinner is "paleo" meatballs (huge ones...six each) on an cabbage/V8 tomato.. cooking...weight watcher's version of Hamburger helper but no pasta...got the cooked cabbage instead...maybe fresh pear slices also...light dinner tonight to make up for all the eating over the weekend.... bought me several books an magazines to read also. Have you people ever ate "Copper River" Salmon..in these parts it's the caviar of Salmon. First time i ever had it was at an Restruant up by Mt. Hood and they had poached it in white wine and topped it with Basamic Rice Pilaf...my was it good...I don' t mean just good...I mean extraordinarily good. You can only get it at certain times of the year. I'ts coming here pretty soon. The Copper River is up in Alaska.  I better sccoot if I want ot do another mile today...makes 3 miles total...talk to you tomarrow. Have an good day!
