I have reached my 2 lb goal for this week, for a total loss of 7 lbs  in two weeks     .

I can see a slight change, which is always a huge motivation. Jeans do up just a little easier, clothes hang just a little better. Soon I will be back to my Cannon Beach weight (see my avatar). This DHSWI diet is a wonder   .

I will aim for anohter 2 lb loss next week.

wish I could say that Sue, I'm battling with Edema right now...from the instant hot temps of an couple of weeks ago. I can range from one morning to the next anywhere from 2 to 4 pounds water weight alone. Been talkin got my doctor this week also. but I'm trying to stay on the diet, I had an bad day last thursday, and yesterday I was on the diet calorie wise, but not food wise...if that makes sense to you.  I'm still stuck at 5 pounds lost. Their video says that 7 pounds is average for the first month...and it said this was not about "losing weight" it is about health training to build muscel, re-establish your mentabolism, and it's an long term progress, in short..something like hasn't been out there to lose weight before.  Diet 7 days, maintain it 2 weeks, off completely two weeks, diet seven days...etc. They claim it works because the less food you eat, the less your mentabolism works also, so you have to keep upping it, plus build muscle at the same time, as muscle burns callories not doing anything physical down the line. I talked to an woman maybe in her 70's that says she has lost 22 pounds if I have any doubts about it all. so don't expect a lot of fast weight lost reports from me folks. May 29th is coming up soon. three more classes and then the results of one month...though I technically finished off the diet sessions last Friday night.

Way to go Sue!! We can do it gals, Shirley? Cathy? Krissy? let's not give up. We are having a pot luck dinner at our church tonight, and as much as I want to pig out, I know I have to watch what I stuff in my face. Yes, watch it go in, but as well, watch what I eat. Or, I'll be stuffing to many sweets in there. I love cheescake, mmm. Making my mouth water now. Ok think positive, salads, salads, and more salads. Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray!! Come on lets be a little more enthusiastic about it, I'll be the cheerleader. Let's see.... hmmm....

Come on Poe Gals....
Let's show the Poe Guys whose Boss,
Let's make a deal....
Which group all together can (maybe) have the most loss??

What does everyone think?
No cheating at all
Maybe have someone make some rules??
Why not?? Shall we have a ball??

If this is a bad idea,
Please let me know,
We can do this as groups,
Or, back to solo??

Something to think about,
Not sure what else to say,
Good luck to everyone,
??Hooray!! Hooray!! Hooray!! ??

(I had to have an ending?)

Good job Jeannie, that's a fun motivational poem.

Thanks everyone for your kudos. And Krissy, other than portion control, I do have a secret secret. A very unique motivational visual to help me on the way.
