Budleigh Salterton's Otter Mouth Looking up the River Otter estuary from its outfall at Budleigh Salterton over the ancient saltpans used by Otterton monks. Scarlet Pimpernel Other names of this plant are poorman's barometer, shepherd's weather glass or shepherd's clock but I know it as scarlet pimpernel. Not the one Baroness Orczy wrote about in 1905.
